Okay, I know it's irritating when people post things without documentation and just say they "saw it somewhere." This, however, I remember very vividly--it was available on-line as of about 8 months ago, but I can't find it now. It was a survey by Cosmopolitan UK of their readers about feet--apparently the article appeared in a spring or summer of 2000 or 2001 issue, one that came with a free pair of flip-flops (!). Anyway, to quote from memory, the results said, "a massive 81% of you have got ticklish feet and 19% don't." There were also numbers on what percentage of their (obviously female) readers liked and didn't like to have their feet touched and tickled (like 30% did, 70% didn't.) Did anyone else run across this? It's the closest to an impartial survey on this subject I've run across. 4 out of 5 is pretty good! Can any of our U.K contingent track this down?
