very nice. You don't see ticklees of color very often.

fantastic sets, especially the 1st one.

btw, i wonder what a ticklee of no color would look like... ;)

Absolutely black. Not the shades of brown colloquially called "black", but real black. Basically, you could only see a silhouette and it probably wouldn't be very interesting. Well, beyond the initial novelty of such a sight.

lol Nyperold; actually no color would be see-through (not white, as white is made up of all colors of the spectrum as well). Black is a mixture of ALL colors; so for a ticklee to be "silhouette black" they'd have to be a "ticklee of all colors".

You beat me to it. Although, there might be a tinge of gray there.
But then again, our eyes are limited to the colors of the spectrum that we percieve. If there was no color, it might be something we have never seen.

Your statement is actually a converse fallacy of accident. You are essentially stating "As the color black is not the absence of all colors, the absence of all colors is not black." That article simply states that when we see black, we are seeing what amounts to very low luminoscity white. If an object or area had no color color at all - for instance, when there is a complete and total absence of light - we perceive the color "black". This is because color is not a property of an object but a property of light incident upon an object.

Additionally, your assertion that a colorless object would be "see-through" functions on the assumption that light, if not reflected from an object, would pass through it. The article you linked itself actually states that light can be reflected by an object, absorbed by an object, or transmitted by (pass through) an object. If an object with no color absorbed light, it would not be possible to perceive colors information from the opposite side of the object under normal circumstances. Resultingly, an expression of an object that does not reflect light (is colorless) and does not transmit it (is opaque) would appear black.

This has been an informative rant brought to you by a case of head-rocking insomnia. To the OP: Rockin' set of pictures. Thanks for sharing!
