Facebook page - We want hollywood to make a tickling themed movie

I don't understand the need to become mainstream. I enjoy the individualistic qualities that come with having a fetish and every time I see a thread of this nature I can't help but wonder just how comfortable to OP is with themselves about their own kinks. Do some soul searching and stop trying to make a special part of you, the daily grind for everyone else.

Okay. Maybe this is ultimately a bad idea. But I'm just saying, skilled hands approaching the subject from the right angle could take something fringe and transform it into something original that a mainstream audience would watch.

Funny how people who say strange things and are called upon it, always say, "I'm just saying!" But yet they keep saying it, defending their position.
I read somewhere about Stanley Kubrick watching porn with a friend saying, "Imagine if something like this could be made with good actors and good equipment?" Still, it's never been done. I agree with Myriads post. I don't need to see celebrities tickled. I know there is a fascination with them because they are out in the mainstream, and everybody sees them, but in the end, they are people too who chose acting as a career. Though it would be interesting to see say Julianne Moore being tickled insane, I'm not counting on it in this lifetime. Besides, we have plenty of beautiful women who are eager to be videotaped being tickled silly for our entertainment, and I'm happy with that.

hmmm...

I guess the community has spoken...this one sucked...back to the drawing board.

I will never get the obsession people have with wanting the media to make tickling "mainstream"

Like if you see it on tv or the screen, it means people will accept the fetish better

Id love to see a scene where an actress i know is tickled to death. People get tickled every day in real life and there's no sex involved. I'd love to see Jennifer Aniston play a teacher at a school festival where they have a set of stocks where kids throw wet sponges & water balloons at teachers. Let ur imagination go from there.

This would be a situation that I could never involve myself in, or post about on Facebook.

Everyone who has seen my posts knows how I value the friendships I have made with the TMF over the past nearly ten years. That having been said: There are friends and relatives on my Facebook list, who know absolutely nothing about my interest in tickling, or about being a member of this site, simply because I dont feel it is any of their business. I liken my membership on the site.. to the idea of not discussing with a friend or relative of what I would do to a girlfriend in tbe bedroom sexually.

If you can get traction to this idea, Good Luck. I see it as a potential problem, simply because many people into tickling keep that part of their lives seperate, and dont broadcast it on Facebook.

You know, Mitch, you can have more than one facebook account

One scene is all you would get. And with a VERY good (read: marketable), story wrapped around it to distract from the focus you would want it to have. At the very least you would get an indie film out of it.

Also, I do believe OP said he started a Facebook page. This means it isn't attached to his personal Facebook account and probably linked to a fake one.

EDIT: Nevermind. He didn't start one. OP said he posted a page which is different.

Also, Betty White sells, SNL sells, soft fetish porn does not. It's ALL about money.

After reading ALL the posts here, I'm blown away. You guys are some of the most negative, non-creative types I've ever had to suffer. He's not trying to make a porno. He's not trying to make tickling mainstream. He wants some good lighting. And a good camera or 3. And acting that isn't god-awful; which it is. This is a great concept. If you have no vision, don't attempt tell those who do what's visible and what's not.

Then go for it. No one here is holding you back.

Well, Hitchcock's "The Birds" had all those menacing feathers......Add a canned laugh track to drown out the screams and.......Haven't some Indie films been made with tickling? An independent film maker might be the best bet to at least incorporate tickling into a movie. Some documentary on the tickling lifestyle to add to those already filmed. Sequelwood, I mean Hollywood, ha$ to have a $cript with perceived ma$$ market appeal in order to $ell $15 popcorn and $8 $oftdrink$. Even a sure thing sometimes bombs at the box office. How would a movie keep the tickling fresh for two hours, anyway? I also give props out to all our great tickle vid producers.

I think I should be excluded from your "ALL" haha. I didn't hammer him like the vast majority. I just put forth my idea if the goal is to get celebs in a bondage/tickling situation.

Multiple people have mentioned porn and mainstream. I don't consider all tickling media porn. It has to have nudity and/or forced orgasms to be porn. Also, I would like bondage/tickling to become much more mainstream. Just like how I enjoy the fact that gaming and comic books have become more mainstream (Spike Video Game awards, and the movie adaptations and DC nation on cartoon network).

The OP specifically says he wants HOLLYWOOD to make a tickling THEMED movie. I work in Hollywood. I have a decent grasp on how this city and the industry works. I think we understand he isn't asking for porn but a TICKLING THEMED movie simply will not sell. It's a smaller niche than B-horror or direct-to-DVD.
To further separate myself from the ALL you mentioned, his concept is something I've been planning on doing for a long time and a few members here have known about it. So it certainly isn't too much to ask for decent cameras, sound and lighting equipment and a good script spoken by decent actors. But in regards to the OP's actual post, his particular idea as it's worded won't happen.

A foot fetish is the most common of all fetishes, if there's a foot fetish THEMED movie out there made by HOLLYWOOD (and by Hollywood I assume he means an actual studio), please let me know. If there is one out there then perhaps there's a chance OP's dreams will be realized. But I don't know of any despite how common it is because the returns of such a project don't justify the cost of pre-production, post-production, promotion, distribution or the required PR.

And somehow, it always hunts you back from your regular account. The CIA is shit compared to Facebook, I'm telling you! :)

Seriously...I'm into tickling and not even I would like to see 90 minutes revolving around it....not that I believe you could actually fill 90 minutes with a plotline that somehow has to do with tickling!

What about that movie Gitchy? I think that one's a horror movie though. I've heard some weird stuff about it.

I was surprised at how good Gitchy was, considering its origins. If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be that it was too short; they had so much more story that could have been told, but they weren't aiming for a feature release and I ended up feeling frustrated by how much I felt they had left out. If the worst thing I can say about a movie is that there wasn't enough of it... hey. Not bad.

Why is it every time someone comes in here with some half-baked, never-gonna-happen-in-a-million-years idea, anyone who points out perfectly valid and reasonable, uh, reasons as to why it's never gonna happen is immediately dumped on as being negative?

"It has to have nudity and/or forced orgasms to be porn."

Don't forget ticklefucking! :seesaw:

I reconsider my earlier opinion after reading the idea of Crash. Well, not specifically crash, but whatever.

More an idea that Tickling be used as a direct object rather than the subject, if that makes sense. Of course I can't think of an instance where this would put tickling in a good sort of light, really -- a serial kidnapper who tickles his victims for example -- but in that regard it's more than doable and, well, I think interesting simply because you wouldn't get that outside of here. For outsiders it might be... well etc.

BUT OF COURSE Marquis already posted a similar thought/concept so... mine is a wasted post. Birds of a feather think alike, I guess.

I really don't understand how that would do any tickling fetishists any good. Want an example? Here you go:

This is what happens when a fetish shows up in a Hollywood movie. Does anybody really want that to happen with tickling? I am pretty happy that nobody has ever heard about tickling as a fetish!

Very interesting on all sides. If nothing else, the OP did get people thinking and talking and thats NEVER a bad thing imo. I have tracked this thread since the start and I have to admit that I am very interested in the thought of something getting out into the main stream just to wittness the reaction.

Over the last few decades, we have seen numerous TV Shows and Movies that have a serial killer, rapist, etc. running amuck in the city. It appears to me that the premise is already out there to inject a little taste of tickling to a main stream audiance. For example, we again can count on both hands at least how many shows/movies we have seen here a deviant captures women, runs to his hideout and sexually abuses his catch. We have seen it countless times. Perhaps go with this same story line but add some scenes where the deviant tickles the victem before or during the sexual abuse. Now you have a fresh spin on an old idea that keeps getting repackaged and fed to us anyway. The tickling is not the main focus at all. Its just a little spice like adding a sprinkle of salt or a pad of butter on a baked spud...

Personally I would rather NOT see tickling get mainstream exposure as part of a sick act of criminal abuse.

I most certainly did NOT say that it would be good exposure on any account, just that it had POTENTIAL to become a workable idea if used in that manner.

Wonderful idea! I can just see people flocking in here asking how to tell their new gf that they are into tickling after having seen that movie with her!

You want that movie, make the movie. It's something that could only be produced by a member of our community anyway. Hire Marquis to write your screenplay, C.A.B. storyboard the thing, and get MTP Jeff to raise the $30 000 or so to shoot an independent film. We'll have our Crash.
