Farewell, Roger Ebert.

I read a day or two ago that the cancer had returned, and enjoyed watching Siskel and Ebert even if I didn't always agree with either of them. R.I.P.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Ebert. You raised the level of respect for reviewers of movies.

The Great Roger Ebert. The poor bastard just announced his semi-retirement two days ago on his website.

A movie buff like him should have known, there's no surer way to guarantee that you won't make it to the end of the movie than to announce your retirement.

I've been to the Gene Siskel film center and I met Richard Roeper when he walked into a 7-Eleven I worked at. All great experiences, but Roger Ebert was something of a Chicago icon and the only reason I ever bought a Sun Times. "I'll see you at the movies," were his last words to his readers, apparently.

:( Two thumbs down.

I always watched Siskel and Ebert. i dont respect any other movie critics opinions but those two. the rest are all wanna be's.

Very Saddened about the passing of Mr Ebert. He left us far too young. He was truly the master of the craft in his profession.

May he Rest In Peace.

I heard that he was making a comeback. RIP Mr. Ebert.

I really enjoyed Mr. Ebert's performance as mayor of New York in Godzilla. He was a riot. Sad to see him go.
