What is your favorite movie that was originally on TV??

My favorite would be The Untouchables then The Fugitive

I really like Colin Ferrell in S. W. A. T., almost as good a Street as Robert Urich. :D

Smiley

My favorite is still "Cabin By the Lake" from USA Network. We stayed up till 2 AM to watch it one night.

Does Wayne's World count? It was a skit on Saturday Night Live.

"She makes me feel kinda funny. Like when we used to climb the rope in gym class."

I would say that Waynes World counts...as would Coneheads good choice!

I'm taking another SNL skit turned movie. A Night At the Roxbury.

"So I'm sitting there waiting to use the payphone. And the guy who's on the phone turns around and tips his hat like this, and who do you think that guy was? EMILIO ESTEVEZ!!" awesome.

Favorite movie that was originally a TV Show: Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer. Oh yeah, I said it! Along with the My Little Pony Movie, in which they fought purple goo known as "smooze". . .

Favorite Non-Lifetime TV movie: Switched at Birth. I used to shut up for four or so straight hours when I was a kid to watch that thing.

Favorite Lifetime sappy sapperson TV movie: The Pact. Because it was actually tolerable. That, and I'm in love with Megan Mullally.

Muah!

Favorite TV show turned movie - Castaways on Gilligan's Island
Favorite made for TV movie - The Stand ABC mini-series
Favorite movie turned TV show - The Night Stalker with Darren McGavin

Yeah - Night Stalker! Good one.

Wayne's World was fun. But I have to go with Naked Gun for small screen to big screen translation.

Big scree to small screen, I liked watching "Delta House" as a kid, but I bet it wouldn't compare today if I went back and saw it.

I couldn't say it was my fave, but I saw on video the Playhouse 90 version of Casino Royale from the late 1950s. It was the first ever James Bond film, with Bond played by Amercian actor Barry Nelson. Kind of dry and staightfoward, but still an interesting piece of history.

"Special Report" about nuclear terrorism, played out like a news show, was a good tv movie; the one that came out about 10 years, with the similar news-show style dealing with messages from space was engaging as well.
