Just had a look at the trailer for the forthcoming film (Feb 2015) and the reviews i have read seem similar to the book reviews.
The moral ground being taken by the PC, rising the usual concerns about the influence on society and the pornographic fetish elements. The more liberal folk saying its a bit tame.
I thought the trailer was quiet good with a sensual element, and the actors seem to be right for the job, and it was to my mind a little tame, given that trailers in general lead us to have great expectations of the coming film, which after we have watched the film very often don't live up to the trailers promises. On that basis is the film going to be good.
The three books making up the "fifty shades of grey" were a sell out and the film, i guess will be also.
I'am into the BDSM domination/submission situation and the bondage element, together with the humiliation and chastisement, which can be linked to other types of fetish like tickling, with great advantage, but not a advocate of the extreme pain type situations.
