I think the first one I ever read was in Penthouse.

It was supposedly written by a woman who claimed she had a fantasy that she was tied to a stake in an African village and all the people in the village lined up in single file and had a turn at tickling her.

I also remember reading the Joy of Sex when I was 17, and they had a drawing of a woman on top of a tied down man, and the author suggested tickling his feet.

It was one that I wish I could find, in the old Penthouse Variations---it was about a woman who was tickled as part of her sorority, and she and an old sorority sister got together with their husbands and ended up with one of the couples tied down and tickled by the other one. I read that one when I was a sophomore in college and it was bizarre because something sorta like that had happened to my girlfriend (not the couples thing, the initiation thing), and we read that story together and had one of those weird moments where you wonder if someone has been writing about your life...

The first full length erotic tickling story (as opposed to a letter in Penthouse) that I read was "Edmund and the Night Visitors" about 15 years ago. It is the story of the tutor, a shy man in his early 20's, to three daughters in a Victorian household (aged 18, 19, and 20, to keep it legal). The three of them come to his room in the middle of the night, tie him to his bed, tickle torture him without mercy, and, in the climax (pun intended), the oldest sister mounts him.

It was Penthouse Variations for me...I still remember the name of the story: "Tickle-Tac-Toe". It was about a group of people who held this girl down at a party and were using a pen to play tic-tac-toe on her bare soles while she giggled uncontrollably. I remember at the end they said she ran off and the ink on her foot left tic-tac-toe prints all over the floor. I thought that was hilarious.

When I was I college and America online dial up was all the rage I remember a story about lynda carter and some other celebrity invited to dine with a sheik. You are dating yourself with that one! I believe it ran in Penthouse Variations around 1986? I wrote it ... was stunnned/thrilled it was published ... all the more so because they added an illustration! I recall I had to write it as "true" (as opposed to a fantasy - which it was) to have a better chance of getting it published and a slight chance of getting an illustration. Still recall the artist's name was Corinne Salzman and could not help but wonder if her own feet cringed as she drew picture of a bare sole with Tic Tac Toe games on it.

I think the first erotic tickling story I ever read was on this forum. It was written by the great Suikoden, I remember because it's one of my favorite games as well. It was about a female cop who was kidnapped by a gangster or mob boss, and he tickled her until she agreed to stop pursuing him, or something to that extent. It involved his version of an ancient torture, "Death by 1000 Strokes", but in his case it was feather strokes. I'm sure it's still here somewhere.

First Tickling Story

The first tickling story I read was called Tickling Fantasy in Penthouse Forum January 1977. At the time, I couldn't believe I was actually seeing a story with the word "tickle" in it. I read that one many times and had vivid images in my mind of the tickling of sexy Helen in the story.

The best tickling story for detail and illustration was in Penthouse Variations April/May 1980. Penthouse said in the previous issue that there was going to be an article in this issue on tickling and that research was being done on it. I waited anxiously for five weeks for this issue of Variations to arrive and I was very pleased with the content wwhen I read it. I read this one so many times that I nearly wore out the printing on the pages.

I still have both of these publications as a memory of the dark days long ago when tickling material was so rare and hard to find.

The first I remember was also in Penthouse (!), summer of 1977. Aguy met a gal at a bar, went back to her place for something called "sex". While doing this, she tied him up (and he wasn't aware of what she was doing?!?) She then told him he wasn't very good at sex, so she had to tickle torture him with her long fingernails, which she did and he eventually had a major orgasm. And the story was true, don't ya know. Sceej56... The story did involve Helen being led to a cave and the other girl was named Jill. I used to follow Variations in the faint hope there would be a tickling story in one of the issues. I don't have Tic-Tac-Toe, because that one was not allowed into Canada by the censors, for the very reason of the tickling content. I had a few other publications that had tickling in them, but the best written ones were these two.

That sounds a lot like the first one I read (it was in Penthouse, too), except for the African village part; as I remember it, she was taken to an island. Seeing that story was when I first realized other people shared my interest; before that, I thought it was just me.

I'd love to read that story again and see how it holds up, but I can't remember the title and searches haven't turned up anything like it.
