Going from easy tickling to hard tickling

So yesterday evening I just had my very first tickling session as a tied, naked 'lee. (Will post a recap if people want).

What I wanna know is, has anyone been able to make a transition from easy tickling, i.e. using safe words, not overly torturous to hard tickling, i.e. the ler gets free reign over the lee. Disregard safewords and pleas, etc.?

For me, I found out I could not handle more than a few seconds of intense tickling.

Ummmm. I'm not even into dudes and I'd like to hear the recap. I'm guessing a lot of others would too.
I don't think I've really experienced intense tickling as all my lers have been girls I've dated and usually at a certain point my laughter causes them to laugh and pause.
Not sure I could handle more than a few seconds either.
