i just got a stockroom magazine in the mail..uh how on earth did they acquire my address? what if David had opened up this mail instead? i would be in some deep shit that's what..i don't go to that website..i've never given out my address to any "porn" magazine..two nude females on the cover..oo that would have made David's day...and not in a good way..only a very few online people have my address and i trust them..so how did this happen??????? i must say there are some interesting bondage devices for sell...ops i digress...damn..holy fucking shit...lol

i never heard of it either....i still am wondering how on earth they got my address? and it came in a brown envelope and said we do that for privacy reasons..and didn't tell me if anyone had sent it to me..and they knew my name..

ah good advice...i should call them especially if they send me more..

If you purchased anything from them or an affiliate they may have gotten it from there. Companies can get your address from your credit card company after a purchase. Odd, though, if you never made a purchase there.

my mom almost kicked my ass when a subscrition for some magazine called "Hot Ebony A** Lickers" came in the mail years ago. the cover had what the titale said, all until she looked at the address, and it was addressed to my best friend next door. didn't see him for a month after that, poor guy was like beyond grounded.

You're probably on some mailing list from signing up to any kind of pay porn site or buying something like that, maybe adult toys or whathaveyou. Once one of these places get your email address or other contact info, they kind of end up spamming you, I think. I mean, I don't see how else it could have happened

ah yes i am aware of that...however this was my home address..not my email..but thank you for your post..and yes i have been spammed..my spam is automatically set to empty so i never look there anymore..

I'd have shat bricks. But I've heard of it happening before. They track email's IP to get the location. People need to respect other's right to privacy but then they don't because advertising and all that crap...

My buddy in college thought it'd be funny to send me porn catalogs. It even continued after I bought a house and moved. They'd never quit sending them, so I'd just chuck them in the garbage unopened. I learned one day from my neighbor's 7 year old daughter that "Mom saw your book and said it was disgusting." I had no idea what she meant till she explained that her and her 5 year-old brother went through my garbage bag on the back porch and took one out. They looked at it, didn't know what it was, and took it home to ask their mom. They'd [the parents] known me for a couple years at that point and they never brought it up or acted weird or protective with the kids. They'd come over and play on my property all the time. But I thought it was funny hearing it from a 7 year-old girl when her parents were too embarrassed to talk about it.

The mailings eventually just stopped because I never bought anything.

That's what I meant. I'm sure they could get it through billing addresses based on credit card purchases, etc.
