I spent many years traveling back and forth between upper Michigan
and southern Illinois between home and my grandparents' house, so
I've been through some towns that consist of cow and horseshit. But
last night, driving to Shady Maple, I almost vomited on my dashboard.
I saw quite a few farms, but not enough to warrant such a strong odor.





Just sayin.

Oh, and I also saw a solid black cow.
 
Some people in that county get around by horse & buggy.

She's right, unfortunately. It DOES smell like shit here often.

I've been to Shady Maple a few times. The food there is okay. Personally, I prefer a place called Miller's Smorgarsboard.

Dave and I were driving through PA yesterday and I actually made us stop to see if I had stepped in poo. It smelled really bad in the car, but the stink was apparently coming from the outside.
 
Ah yes..................Pennsylvania Dutch perfume.Pig shit smells worse though.

I did too, Drew. Black Cows were made to last a long time and a staple here around Halloween time.

As to Pennsylvania smelling like poop I never encountered that all the times I drove the length of the state coming and going to NEST. Not even when I passed Carl's house.
