Some of the worlds finest athletes gathered in Coney Island today to compete in Nathans Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. Joey Chestnut was the winner for the 5th straight year, eating a total of 62 hot dogs. I`m sure Joey will relish in his accomplishments.

In the first ever womens division competition, Sonya Thomas was the winner. Only weighing 100 pounds, Sonya devoured 40 hot dogs.
