Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I've just started casually seeing this guy and at first there was some poking and a little bit of tickling. But now that we've started seriously making out, the tickling has just stopped and I'm disappointed.

I've tried teasing him and teasing him to get him to tickle me, but he doesn't tickle in retaliation. Sometimes I'm squirming under him a bit, as he's accidentally tickling me and he'll smile and ask me if I'm ticklish there. But then, that's it!

Happyman's not too far off, and mils is even better. The point is what you're feeling is completely normal, even if it's not everyone's bag. Treat it as completely normal. Don't use the word fetish -- who needs that? Play a game with him -- it's simple, really, even though you might be a little self-conscious about it.

Here's one scenario.

Tell him you've got a secret that you can't tell him -- that you're absolutely sworn to secrecy and can't tell a soul, but it's something he really should know, and you feel bad not being able to tell him (or somesuch)... ...though you couldn't be blamed if he could forcibly... ...say... ...tickle it out of you.

If he starts and stops, ask him if that's "the best he can do", "you call that tickling?", or "I can't give up a secret this big just for that!" Subtle, friendly jibes to his competence like that will probably do the job of egging him on.

If he's doing well, give him a tour of the good spots... When he gets to a sensitive spot, say, "Omigod, not there!!!" If he's got just a little bit of sadist in him and you've built up that secret enough, he'll focus on those spots to "break" you.

If you are at the point where.....

I think you're doing pretty well, honestly. It <I>should</I> be hard to talk about this with someone when you don't know for sure whether you'll receive any validation in return.

If I talked about this to a person I was seriously seeing, I'd have to start out by first helping them understand that this is difficult for me to talk about because I know they may or may not understand, and that I've only decided to tell them because I trust them a lot.
