As the bugman noted a problem seems to have arisen that may have to do with the javascript countdown to NEST recently. Mastertank1 reported it as being a browser issue to do with AOL forcing an update of a browser (Possibly an update to Internet Explorer 7 or a newer version of AOL's own pseudo-browser). As A fix I suggest downloading and installing an alternative browser. Mozilla Firefox and Opera are both excellent browsers which would fit the bill. Try one of them and see if it fixes your problem. If not then we can go from there.

Not Java, Javascript. The two are not the same and are not directly related to each other. You can try disabling Javascript, although I cannot guarantee all forum functions will work if done. Posting, reading threads, and the usual things should be fine; some other more superfluous functions may not survive.
Internet Explorer 7:
1. From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options... .
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Custom Level... .
4. Scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list. Click Disable (or Enable to turn it back on later).
5. Close and restart your browser.
Internet Explorer 6 and under:
1. From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options... .
2. Click the Security tab.
3. In versions 5.x and 6, click Custom Level... . In version 4.x, click Custom and then Settings:
4. Scroll to the "Active scripting" section of the list. (In version 6, this is under "Scripting".) Click Disable or Enable.
5. Close and restart your browser.
