Interview With Yaqi

Since I am above flaming and spewing insults (as much as I would like to speak my mind right now), I am simply going to say that after reading that interview, I am literally sick to my stomach. I once supported and admired Yaqi. After reading that, I have totally lost all respect for him. *shakes her head in severe disappointment*

If you're too lazy to read the whole thing, here's some of the more choice tidbits.

I bought some tickling videos produced by other companies and they were so fucking god awful. I had an entire studio at my disposal so I started making videos that were decidedly better than my competition.

You have to understand that the internet tickling community is a reasonably organized collection of some
of the most uninteresting, unfunny, embarrassingly stupid bunch of obsessive, moronic whining, mother fucking loser freaks. Many of them are soooo in to tickling but afraid to reveal this to anyone. So they sit in the internet tickling community and fantasize about kidnapping and tickle torturing Britney Spears, or they "cyber tickle" in chat rooms, or go "OMG VCR ALERT!!! There is a great shot of
Pamela Anderson's feet on TV next week!" or do anything other than go out in the real world and find a tickling partner. Granted there are exceptions to this. www.yaqisworld.com has its own dedicated fans, and the people who come to my site on a regular basis seem intelligent and well rounded. There are some good people out there who do live out their fantasies, but the majority of the "vocal" components of the ticking community (which actually represent a small fragment of the number of people into tickling) are these unclever, sniveling losers. The whole point of www.yaqisworld.com was to say "People, stop living in a dream world! Tickling is cool and not weird so go out and do it!" Unfortunately people are too terrified to do this so they sit on the internet and let their fantasies fester into a giant disease.

Disgusted by this attitude and by all of these pathetic whistle dicks, I decided that I was going to take tickling mainstream and prove it was a viable thing.

Also, I'm really sick of providing mainstream tickling
material for all the jack offs in the internet tickle community. They all whined when I was on Stern: "Is Yaqi giving us a bad name???" but of course they all listened to the broadcast and faithfully watched the E! shows and made mpeg clips for everyone. And then some of them whine about how my tickling Jenna Jameson was a waste of time because I did not touch her feet! Of course these kinds of comments are from idiots who have and probably never will have any actual

I just read the whole interview. In general, one should beware of people who say something resembling "Everybody else in my field is incompetent, and I am a genius." Yaqi's interview displays that attitude.

He apparently has the utmost comtempt both for other makers of tickling videos, and for the members of this forum. I will certainly agree with Mimi. Without spewing out nasty epithets, I have lost all respect for Yaqi. He can go %#%#%#*&*^@.

To NinjaJubei: Thank you for posting the link to this interview. It was sickening to read, but I am glad to know the truth about Yaqi's attitude.
 
I couldn't believe what I was reading. He was insulting all ticklephiles...too bad he is one too. Just because you don't make a website and go on national tv to get made fun of by howard stern doesn't make you a sad loser. By doing this Yaqi got a lot of bad mail it looks like, I'd rather not be hated and made fun of. But the way Yaqi talks in that interview, he deserves every word of it. I thought he seemed like a cool guy but he isn't, unless he was just taking too many a**hole pills the day of the interview and his behavioir was just a fluke. that is no way to talk about anyone, especially your customers and people who think like you. show some respect. that was way out of line. jeeeeeeeez.

Oh, quite a while ago yaqi posted a very similar rant about the tickle community here on TMF and on AMT, only to deny that he's ever written that a few days later, charging an unknown impostor. Instead he destroyed all discussions on him by deleting all his posts. As all replies vanish as well when the original post is deleted, he destroyed a lot of valuable POVs in the process. Because of that, the TMF disabled the 'delete' option for original posts after a certain span of time.

It's quite sad what fame (or what yaqi thinks it means) can do to some people... :sowrong:
 
You lost respect for Yaqi!? Lost respect!?!? I never had any for him. He's always had the attitude displayed in that interview we all just read. He's always been arrogant and in a strange world of his own where he is somehow the king of tickling? Give me a break! I think his videos are subpar to say the least. I can name 5 video companies who's work is consistently far better than his crap. How about that one video where he and another man are in their underwear and he's tickling the other man? And he's not gay? Come on people! :sowrong: (not that being gay is wrong but dont try to say you're not gay when your actions prove otherwise. that's all i'm saying)

1. I never thought highly of Yaqi. He always struck me as nothing more than a pompous egomaniac who felt everyone should bow down and kiss his ass. Just my personal opinion.

2. Has anyone taken notice to the fact that Yaqi has flat out said that he likes to go for shock value? Quite a shocking interview, wouldn't you agree?

3. If he looks down on us, why does he hang around? I certainly won't miss him if he leaves.

Bottom line, I personally don't care what Yaqi has to say. I never bothered to watch him on stern, I never d/led his clips, and I only ever visited his website once. Let him spew whatever 'shock' material he likes. It doesn't faze me because I am neither like the people he descibes in his interview nor am I full of myself like he is. And that is all I have to say on the subject.

I suppose i could sit here and say what a dick yaqi is, i've already done it once after his post on here and the amt, but he does make quality material. He himsefl may be, and i'm pretty sure is, an arrogant little bitc#, but i'd say he's earned the right. As far as bashing us....seems funny that he would insult us after his alleged "claim to fame" where his character was pretty much demolished by Howard and his gang on national television. That's pretty much like saying "i'm the transexual whore who was on Springer last week and everyone who is a secret transexual is a bunch of pansies for not admiting it!" remember yaqi (probably shouldn't be addressing him since he won't even read this most likely anyways), with everyone of your so called 'supporters' is about 50 others who think you are a sick, sick man. Not to mention the fact that most of your 'supporters' probably hate you now for bashing them. and btw, why, if you're so convinced that no one was offended by your showing on sterns, wouldn't you pursue mainstream appearances? seems if you really have a love, not just ejaculatory infatuation, for tickling, you would want to share that w/ EVERYONE, not just people on the internet (need i remind you that you're primarily based on the internet, behind enemy lines if you catch my drift) anywho, i'm done bashing him. How charming. I have to wonder if Yaqi is trying to put himself out of business? Anyone who's got a long memory of Yaqi posts, will remember the history me and him have. I reacted so violently to a post of his a few months ago that it was edited by two different moderators and actually produced some support for him. If I hadn't been so vehement, he would never have had the support in that thread that he subsequently did.

I do have to wonder what business philosophy this guy subscribes to. In that "interview" he insulted what must amount to a good 90% of the tickle video buying public. Given that his tapes are nothing remarkable and that several companies have the capacity to turn out more polished stuff than he does, you have to imagine that he wants to go out of business. He also seems to have a marked disrespect for the girls he hires as models. His main interest beyond tickling them, seems to be boning them. I think Saddham Hussein has purer morals.

i just read the full interview and, having thought about it for a bit, yaqi does churn out a load of bullshit about the uk show 'dot comedy'.

he describes it as the UK version of springer. no, it is not. as the name implies, dot comedy is a weekly show, broadcast at times past midnight, which takes the piss out of certain websites. yes, yaqi, they took the piss out of you too. (altough i never saw the show with him on it). probably about 200 000 people watch, at most, so its hardly mainsream. and gail porter, sure i wouldn't mind tickling her, but she's hardly a glamour babe - more of a soft core porn star, washed up from presenting kids tv shows. for example, her nude image (complete with pierced nipples) was once projected, with a rather large projection device, onto the houses of parliament in london (i can't remember why, but its off topic anyway).

all i'm saying is that yaqi is bullshitting his way into looking good, and not doing a very good job.

Yaqi, if your'e reading this then you owe me one! I have generated more support for this prick than anyone else, even those who actually support him!

Novus, engage the interprative circuits for a second and think about it. Of course you can't compare the two. Hussein is just as evil as Hitler, but with fewer resources.

I wouldn't say that Yaqi is merely "flawed" or "just a bit arrogant" either. I would say he is overwhelmingly arrogant and a bad businessman.

A flaw in your personality is a twitch in the eye or a propensity for losing your temper in hot weather. I think that trying to bone all his models and insulting his customer base are slightly more than that.:sowrong:

Also after having read that interview and getting a frightening sense of deja vu', I'm beginning to doubt the harmlessness part as well.

I feel especially burned in that I bought one of his tapes a while back...If this is how he views his potential customer base, I'll be more than happy to spend my money on TC or MTP...at least they appreciate their customers...

Well, he's got an e-mail address on his web-site. Maybe someone should e-mail this thread to him. Come to think of it, maybe half a dozen of us should e-mail this thread to him. He'd be hard put to ignore it all then. Of course, he'll probably just dismiss us all as saddos, but that's his problem. When you find yourself in a minority of one in your community you've gotta start worrying.
