I don't know if the other foot fetishists, or anyone else on the forum, heard about this.. I just read a post over at Wu's which said that the Leg Show print magazine is no longer in existence, and that their last print edition was in August 2012.

This is sad news.. for myself.. and, I'm sure, a lot of other foot fetishists. Without that magazine, I wouidnt even be a member of this site. Their articles on foot tickling, were how I first really became aware of tickling as a sexual fetish. Additionally, for those who don't know, I met my pen pal Don Fraser through their magazine, as I answered an ad of a straight male into tickling, he replied, and we were pen pals, for five years until his passing. If I had never known him, I would never have gone looking for a social tickling website, and ended up here.

Leg Show was a wonderful magazine, for foot fetishists, and even those of us into foot tickling.

Very sorry to see it go.

It's a shame to see it go. For those of us who are old enough to have lived in a time BEFORE the Internet this magazine was legendary. I remember my chin hitting the floor the first time I saw an issue. For those of us that would buy Playboy and Hustler only to be disappointed this was a breath of fresh air. Those other magazines would always manage to crop or block the feet of a model. It was amazing to see how many times a well placed pillow ruined an otherwise nice photo shoot. Then came Leg Show. Not only did it show off the models feet. But they often got tickled too. And of course they loved to reprint Elmer Batters work. I know by today's standards their material was pretty mild but when it was one of the few sources of foot and tickle pictures, those issues didn't stay on the shelves very long.

Very sad I bought a lot of Leg Show magazines. Great magazine. I looked forward to each new issue.

Cartoonist Robert Crumb (a top-shelf cartoonist and a fantastic pornographer too!) had a photo shoot with Leg Show in the mid-90s. In the documentary "Crumb", you see him being stood upon by some lovely women not unlike the ones he draws.

It was a great magazine in its time, and I greatly enjoyed it in the pre-internet era. But the time for print magazines is past. Thousands of times more photos and stories are available for free on the internet now than appear in one issue of any print magazine.

Sad to see another printed magazine go out of business. I remember that magazine very well.

Yep, and expect more to follow, and not just "adult" oriented material. Look at what the Internet has done to the newspaper business. Granted, there are other factors in play there. It would be sad, but I won't be surprised if printed papers go the way of the dinosaurs.
