So I'm messaging with a young man about possibly meeting to help me with a project and I'm also sharing some details from my past that are relevant. At the same time I am stressing that privacy and confidentiality are my primary concern. So what does he do? Starts speculating on what my job is. So I am done chatting with him. No hard feelings but clearly he did not want to accept what he was being offered and he was a security risk after all.

Yeah, it's amazing that some people won't listen (in this case, read). We tend to hear what we want to hear and almost 'skim' over printed text.

That does seem to be a big thing to the creepiest people; having personal information about someone (usually female), especially when that person wants some modicum of privacy. It's one of the reasons we lose so many women from the forum, and models end up leaving the video business. Creeps just can't respect boundaries, and are obsessed with trying to slither around them.
