Need a west coast version of NEST

You know I was reading about NEST, and how much fun people had there. If a west coast version was to be formed, which would be a better location. San diego california, or Las vegas nevada? I personally like the idea of Las vegas, but that's just me. What do you all think?

I see threads like this pop up from time to time and nothing ever comes of them. There's no other gathering like NEST because it's been run by people that have worked extremely hard to grow it from a small private party held in an apartment to the gigantic 3-4 day weekend experience with 100+ guests every year.

Other NEST's don't just happen. Someone has to take the initiative to actually coordinate a local gathering and get the word out. Then however many people come the first time, you hope those people will come back and spread the word to more guests. You learn from the mistakes you make as you go along to keep improving the gathering. If you do it right, there isn't any reason why another gathering on the scope of NEST can't exist elsewhere. But someone has to actually be the person to get the ball rolling and put in the time and effort to grow it over the years.

Funny that you should say that, when Sadira and I have been working on this for our SEVENTH year. This will be party number 9 since 2005. Have you considered coming to one of our parties? Just curious! Or is Michigan out of your scope?

Easier said than done. Like DAJT said, there are plenty of west coast gatherings. Maybe consider attending one of those. They're considerably smaller than NEST, but are just as fun and you'll meet some awesome people.

It took years for NEST to grow to what it is now. It took dedicated people to make it into what it is now. Not everyone is capable of that much dedication, to put the time and effort it takes into a gathering.

There are very very few things that would stop me from wanting to go to a gathering... but LA traffic is high up on that list.

Between San Diego and vegas... vegas would be great because you (as in, a person attending) really could plan more than a weekend out of it (say you take a week off, go to the casinos a few days, see a few shows, then when the weekend rolls by, theres a tickling gathering!). San diego on hte other hand.... it's freaken san diego <3 .

Considering I live/born in Vegas, it would be awesome...(I also think my other fellow Veganite, Falcon; would be down for it to(if he could get time off).

Just need that certain push like NEST has, and great planning...

I wouldn't mind trying to give it a shot.

Well this is just an idea. I have no idea if it would even be possible. But I think if you wanted to jump start a meeting without having to build over years your best bet would be to somehow get some of the popular tickle models to show up. Long shot I know, but I think it would be a great start.

Or tickling producers showing up to demonstrate some live tickling, maybe even allow some guests to tickle the models or be tickled by them.... I don't know if this is possible but it would be great for everyone. Producers would build a more dedicated fan base, and fans would get a very rare chance to tickle there favorite tickle models. I think it's really about the $$$$

A great big awesome gathering shouldn't always be about the money...(Like NEST!)

But, that is an interesting thought. The only train crash would be the whole commercialization of the gathering...

I guess it would take a while for such a gathering to ever get momentum...

Actually I would drive down....

Although, you know what, with how gas prices are these days and those super cheap ($70 ive heard before) flights to vegas, it's actually cheaper to fly.

I'm on the east coast, but I would definitely be down for NEST in Las Vegas
