1999 was my first NEST. 2002 was my second. 2004, my third and 2008 will be my fourth. I am so excited to be coming back after so long.

I can's wait to see my old friends, meet all the new folks and I even see some names of people I have talked to for years and never met.

See everyone in less than 2 weeks!!!

Well, after trying many different ways of manipulating my calendar around a full weekend of gigs to make even a day of NEST work for me... I won't be able to attend this year.

If there was a frowny face that was frownier than this: I would be frowning it right now.

I cannot promise anything more than the fact that Lisa and I will definitely be making an appearance at some point, or at various points, throughout the weekend. Hope a few of you are planning on being night owls!!

Check-in at the hotel is from 5-8, but you can be sure that the members of the NEST Team and other wonderful volunteers and guests will be clearly visible in the hotel lobby. Make sure to come check in, to receive your nametag***, your wristband, and welcome/goodie packet.

I have attended several of the NEST gatherings (back when it was at Max's apartment!), but have had a hard year with my dad being put into a nursing home for his Alzheimers. I also moved in to take care of my mother. I could use the insane laughter of the ladies, and seeing old friends again.

I really hope to make it at the last minute, as you NEST folks mean the world to me.

Jen,
I am crossing my fingers I can make it. After I got the forms Friday I had them filled and sent the fee to PAYPAL for the NEST team. Well an hour later my mother asked me to drive her to the doctor. Her blood pressure was very high it turns out.

So today is Saturday I will have to see how she is as she was still not feeling so great, and although I love the NEST family (it's not a clique to whiners), blood is thicker and she gets every ounce of mine.

Hope I can make it, if not as DVNC said "there is always NEXT YEAR"
Problem, I will have missed two years in a row. All due to family issues.
