hey, i just saw CCs "incredible" new pic, and he said that for moral reasons, he won't draw the younger girl from the movie. Now i dont wish for anyone to think of me as some sort of petifile, but considering the woman who did the voice for that character is now 36 years of age, i dont think it would be wrong if someont was to draw a pic of the girl geting tickled. I mean its not porn or anything, so i dont feel it is immoral. Please keep in mind that I think no less of anyone who thinks otherwise, and i respect the opinion of those people. Just wondering if I was the only one who felt this way.

Although fetish drawings of minors are not illegal, it doesn't look good for the community as a whole when visitors to the board see frequent references to children, even if fictional, in the context of tickling, bondage, and other forms of physical play that have erotic overtones or undertones. Therefore, CC is just being careful, so I fully support his decision.

I know a drawing like that would not be illegal and unless it was obscene it wouldn't even be against the rule of the forum as cartoons are a "grey" area.
CC chose not to accept requests like that for personal reasons which he has the right to do. Incidentally the age of the voice actor has less than nothing to do with it.

As a resident artist here myself, I can see the common sense and foresight in CC's decision. While drawing those types of pictures are of no consequence to me, they would be a liability to this site which is trying to follow regs so as to not become a blip on the scanners of the agencies responsible for reporting this sort of "crime".
The age of the voice actress of the character in question is irrelevant as the character herself is underage, and drawing her in ANY way that COULD be used as evidence of wrong-doing is a liability to this site, particularly to the owner, TT, who would no doubt bare the brunt of the legal offense with the rest of us as accessories.
Even though the chances of a worst-case scenario are limited, they are still possible. And one slip-up is one slip-up too many. All it takes is ONE ill-fated bad decision to ruin everything.
Trying to weigh the pros and cons of this topic is pointless as it is implying we should take these types of chances. The risk just isn't worth it, no matter how innocent the artist, and by extension, their art is.
We live in a world where people are looking to drop a dime, and would, in a second if they had a reason to. If theres some sicko deleting groups on yahoo, theres certainly someone among us waiting for this site to make a critical mistake.
We shouldn't afford this person, or persons a moment of opportunity, not now, not ever.
