"Old School" mid to late 90's online tickle community

Remember when a 10 sec. video clip that took 20 min to download was a big deal!!

I was not blessed with a PC to use privately back then but always wanted to see what kind of content were in those groups in the late 90's. And yes, I do remember the days when it took oh so long to download a short bit of material. Dial-up......uuuhhh I shudder to think if that were still the case today lol. Once I got to college and moved on campus where we had DSL, it was like the fastest thing EVER (at that point in time).

I remember Simon. Another AOL member and I were invited out to spend the weekend with him and his family, and we ended up having a pretty amazing time. My husband (before we met) used to talk to someone named Donna Freak,, is she the one you are thinking of? And T-Bill...he was my first ever ler, and I still think fondly of him, but don't see him around here.

I knew DonnaFreak. She used to tease about "kidnapping" me and tickle torturing my feet.

I knew Simon, too.

Let me throw out some names of popular folk from back then and people who I interacted with.

Juggler, Kujman, QBWeaver, Steve&Beth, Simon, Sciomach, TiklExpert, Oblesklk, ChadPet, ANA&Andre.... Thats just off the top of my head. There's a lot more I can't remember. Like this one individual named Donna, but I can't remember the rest of her screen name. And I won't even mention others.

Those names take me back to my college days. A lot of good names there. Except for...Oblesklk? WTF kind of crazy ass name is that?

I posted under different names..kept having to change em due to account being hacked back then (before I knew about "firewalls", anti-virus programs, etc lol)

I wrote at least 3 fictional tickling stories as "jason19tk" :

"Taekwondo Tickle-Torture" (which led to one of my former college classmates finding out the fantasy I had about her. She's cool with it, though ) ,

"Rachell's Closet" (based on a dream one of my online friends had..but I added alot of stuff) , and "Beach of Laughter"

They can still be found online..I just found em a few minutes ago!

They were my first stories, so there's alot more "HAHAHAHAHAs" , "NO STOPs" etc, than I shoulda used. Hmm..maybe I should re-write/improve the stories?

I'm still around Crypto. I don't frequent the website as often as I used to mostly due to work keeping me super busy.

I also reunited with a long lost love back in 2006. We married in 2008 and I can truly say I've never been happier in my entire life. So now I'm married and a grandma of two adorable kids (a boy and a girl). They call my husband "Papa".

I miss the old AOL days sometimes. I'm still in touch with several of the folks you mentioned. Donna (aka DonnaFreak) still emails with me every so often. She's doing great and her daughter gave her a beautiful grandchild.

Do you remember AmazonXXX (Patty)? I met her at the Chicago Airport for lunch one day as I was traveling through on a business trip.

Those were fun days and THESE days are even better.

I was quite active online back in those days, using the screename Edrover77. I clearly remember the day I discovered the AOL chatroom called ticklish soles. It was 1996 using my very first computer, which had a hard drive with a whopping 160MB capacity. I remember Donna, QB, Amazon and so many others.

I don't "do" as much around here anymore because...life.

I used to go by ticklious back in the AOL chatrooms I remember donnas stories about being tickled by her boss!!!

It's amazing that the "old school" days of the aol chatroom and the first handful of emerging websites was practically twenty years ago. (I would have been "Parisle" in the aol room.) And even then, we could fondly reminisce about the "old school" days relative to our time period,... the one C.A.B. alluded to. Fetish Times was the first publication I encountered which hit everything head-on,.. late 70's, I'd say. I'll wager that a number of folks hooked up with other folks as a result of FT's little ads in the back pages. Hardly a week would go by that an envelope stuffed with photos and xerox copies was neither incoming, nor outgoing. The "community-in-waiting" took shape. And as odd as it might sound, it's hard to beat the early-to-mid 80's for raw excitement and tension (the good kind). Technology is great, of course,.... but it can obscure some things, too.

This thread has some more folks in it from about 6 years ago - I found the AOL tickling
chatroom when I was about 13, made a few friends by the time I was 15 (some of whom
I'm still friends with today) and became more active in chatting and other areas of the
internet (AMT) when I was around 17.

Those were fun times!

I'm another AOL old timer. I remember stumbling across the AOL tickling chat room around 1995. It was so great to actually speak to other people that loved tickling!
After a few years, for some reason, AOL banned that chat room, then it came back for awhile. I'm not sure when I stopped going to the AOL tickling chat room. Probably around 2001 when I joined TMF.


I was on the tickling newsgroups too, but the spam on them got out of hand in a short time, so I didn't do a lot on them after that.

Wow that brought me back to memory lane too! I think I was like 12 or 13 in the days of aol chat and irc.... The first tickling site I can remember was "great feet" with that weird eyeball as the icon. It was mostly a porn site with some tickling. The Internet was the Wild West back then!

I was around back then and I definitely loved Hoteltickle. SOme other favs were the MTP site, Feetonline with their little 46 second clips, and Tickling Holly. Ahhh good times.
