I Just Had To Stop By For Another Visit

Glad to see this thread is still up and running!

I was recently in San Francisco and aside from visiting Haight-Ashbury, I visited Berkeley and shopped at one of the cool record stores out there (Rasputin Music, to be exact). I picked up a CD by a band called Captain Beyond, which featured original Deep Purple lead singer Rod Evans on vocals, Lee Dorman and Larry 'Rhino' Reinhardt (both from Iron Butterfly) on bass and lead guitar, respectively, and Bobby Caldwell (who played with Johnny Winter) on drums (the same Bobby Caldwell who had a big hit in 1979 with the song "What You Won't Do For Love"). The album rocks so I thought I'd share the first three tracks with all you Rock lovers out there:

Jeff and I were talking about the unique sound that Voice boxes offer, and he sent me the second part of this well known song. It is almost completely done using the voice box. I remembered hearing it a lot when I was younger, so it brought back really nice memories.
