Visa has pre-paid "gift cards" which are essentially just credit cards with very limited funds on them, they work just as well as an actual card.

I have used Visa and MasterCard, gift cards/pre-paid CC without any problems on C4S. I have been unable to use these same cards on the TA membership site.
I suggest trying a small denomination 1st to see the card you choose works for your needs.
