Runtime Error

I have uninstalled and installed Java versions but I cannot access chat. It just says runtime error everytime but other chatrooms still work. I am able to use this one on other computers but not my laptop!!! How can I fix this?

So, just so I'm clear, you are able to access the TMF chatroom on all your other systems, except your laptop, though they are all running the same java release?

maybe your system is corrupt (virus)

Same issue here, with a brand new computer.

This seems to be a java issue. Some updated versions do not play well with the room. Until the chat folks do an update, all that can be done is to move to an older version of java.

A work around that sometimes works is to download a few different browsers, sometimes using one of them will work without monkeying with the java

It seems to vary for people. Safari for some, Firefox for others, IE for a few, Chrome for a bunch.
