I don't normally post, just read stories and watch videos, but this topic intrigued me. I agree with rhiannon, if you can get off just by looking at bare hands, lucky you, that doesnt mean a cooking show is porn. Well I guess that depends on what kind of cooking show....now....back to skyrim!!

I guess we have to if you have no intent of discussing the topic.

We did discuss it. You seem set on your opinion, and I am sticking with mine. No need to be condescending. These are all opinions, nothing more, nothing less. I will agree to disagree. Peace.

But there are pretty good reasons why something does not become porn just because someone who looks at it gets turned on by it. Then just about everything would be porn! :) That's why I don't think your opinion is standing on solid grounds. :)

This makes me think of so many chat situations when people ask me if tickling is fetish. I then ask them what is fetish in their opinion. I get different answers. They don't know what it is but most of them "know" it must be something bad. Fine! Good base for discussing.
For some it is, for others not. It depends on .... I don't know. I like tickling and there is more to say about than just hey it is fetish, now you should now everything. Stupid!

Back to the toppic, the word porn is somehow the same. Difficult to distinguish and depending on so many things, thoughts, whatever.
If someone wants to know what whoever else calls it, tell them to start their own brain and get their own opinion. Explain them where they would appear as a model, what happens with the media etc. That's better than every as-short-as-possible term that no one can understand :)
Expecially in the context of something like tickling that can be anything between innocent and highly sexual.

Please enlighten me on those reasons. I was under the impression, since puberty, that if something turned me on, that I could use it as porn. Intent never had, or never will have any influence on what turns me on, I can't help that. My opinion and 60 cents will get me a soda, but it's impossible for an opinion to be wrong. :)

You can use it as wank material, but that doesn't make it porn. That would mean everything in the world could be porn, but porn is something that was specifically made to turn people on, and it doesn't matter how many people it turns on.

Following your logic, something would cease to be porn if someone who looks at it is not turned on by it. I'm not turned on if I see a movie with two girls going down on each other. But it's still porn, whether it turns me on or not. :)

I see. So following your logic, it would be perfectly acceptable to send videos of children swimming or wrestling to Jerry Sandusky's house, since he's probably bored on house arrest. Hey, it's not porn, right? Anything CAN be porn, even if you disagree. I'm done here, I respect your opinion, but don't understand it.

Following my logic, if someone produced this videos with the intent to send to Jerry Sandusky's house (whoever that is, but I guess it's a pedophile), yes, it would be porn. If someone produced it to send to his friends to show how great their kids were, and the friends sent it on to Jerry Sandusky, then it would still not be porn, he would just use it as wanking material. A catalog for children's swim wear is still not porn, even if he jacks off to it. It's still just a catalog for children's swim wear. If it became porn because a pedophile could use it as material, then it would be forbidden!

So you're saying that something can be porn in one instance, and then not porn in another. That's the point I've been trying to explain all along. I knew you'd come around eventually. It's subjective. Now we can move on to other threads. Cheers!

Yes, but you are basing it on the wrong reasons why something is porn or not. It does not become porn depending on who watches it, it becomes porn depending on what the intention was when it was produced!

I disagree. You have your opinions, I have mine, it's all good. Let's not turn this into a "I got the last word in" type of discussion, because it seems to be going that way. Cheers.

I just get the feeling you don't understand what I mean, but that's okay. Just keep in mind that porn can get banned, flagged and removed in certain places and think about it in that context.

I believe that everything that we ever do, say, or wear in life is porn for somebody...whether we like it or not.

I understand, just don't agree. Regarding the banning, flagging, and removing of porn in CERTAIN places, wouldn't that make it subjective?

removing of porn in CERTAIN places, wouldn't that make it subjective?

Certain just because porn is fine in some places, but not in all. Tickling clips get deleted from youtube, clips of children who do tickle-wrestling don't. Why, if those where porn too?

Well, I don't work for Youtube, so this is purely speculation. I would guess some tickling videos get removed, and others don't because some people who work there find some videos to be pornographic, and other videos to not be pornographic. It probably depends on who views them, and what they think of them. Seeing as how it's not clearly defined as wether or not tickling videos are porn or not, I would guess their basis for removal would be...subjective.

and others don't because some people who work there find some videos to be pornographic

The thing is, the videos who get removed are all produced as tickling clips, they are supposed to be wanking material while the ones who stay on there are not.

Oh, I was unaware of how things worked at Youtube. Anytime I've ever searched for tickling porn on there, I've found it. Hmm...weird. Oh well. Looks like neither of us can see eye to eye this matter, so I guess we'll have to take the poll's results to find our answers. Good debate though. Cheers!
