TMF Classic Rock Vote-Off Quarterfinal Round 3

Greeting all you rock dudes and babes! Our first rounds of the quarterfinals are out of the way, and advancing are.....

The Doors (over Genesis) and Pink Floyd (over The Who)

Both were pretty tight fights for a bit there and that's where we can see these upcoming rounds getting interesting.

Ok, moving down the brackets we have two more previous winners facing off and...let's see......ohhhhh this should be a good one.

Jethro Tull vs. Black Sabbath

Vote now and have fun tearing each other's throats out!

Had to go with Tull here, although the choice was a bit tougher for me. I tried to keep the Osbourne/Dio era of Sabbath alive in my head (and I do luvs me sum Ronnie James), but Tull's just always been a top 5 band for me. I like just about everything they've done.

Tough call, a bit.....but Jethro Tull does it for me this round.

First of all, this was NOT an easy decision for me. Tull is a very unique band, which is something I value greatly in a band. Then again, Sabbath was unique at the time and, in my opinion, the grandfathers of metal music.

Tough call, but I'm going to go with Sabbath. By a slim margin.

Anyone ever seen Ozzy in concert? You probably know the drill then:

Ian Anderson is a class act and a thousand times more talented.
