I'm not knocking on y'all that enjoy them. I just personally feel that tickling should involve as little 'extra' help as possible. Am I alone here?

I really do never look at the toothbrush/hairbrush/lotion section the same at Wal-Mart anymore.

But I like this better: Hands are great because much of the appeal in tickling for many is actually touching/feeling another person. Granted I dunno much for the lees but as a ler I like being able to FEEL a lee's body.

But hey, tools are fine too, and I can get where much appeal comes from.....I mean, hey, they allow you to tickle without making physical contact, and making physical contact with a member of the opposite sex............is something many of you wouldn't know much about! *runs*

Where as it's been my personal experience that nothing works better then the actual hands/fingers and technique of the tickler. Every time I've been ticked for a long time or done a "session" the tools never illicit the same response on me as fingers/nails do, but again that has just been my personal experience.

I know some folks respond better to tools then perhaps fingers or nails, and at times it's cool to see in video clips and stuff. But I think it's better not used in excess.

Tools are kinda fail... They'll never tickle as much as just the fingers, either, at least not if it's a 'ler that knows what he or she is doing.

Well seeing as i have been putting a lot of things in the forum about tools/toys/instruments/etc... I guess I will dive into the cross-hairs.</br>

Why I like using items.... </br>

Well to begin with,
I guess it is because i am a techno-geek. I love gadgets. I love seeing a gadget and becoming creative on how exactly to use said gadget for something that is not at all what it was intended for. I am not a fan of Sonicare or just regular Electric Toothbrushes as you can see from my posts. No, I like the "holy shit that is a toothbrush?? it looks like some torture device." They are interesting to me. And I think they make fun instruments of stimulation, be it tickling or any other kind. </br>

Secondly,
I think that that it is good to mix up the tickling sensations. You know? I mean I am good with my fingers and such but, the different sensations can also be fun as well.</br>
I mean yeah I can tie a woman down and lightly run my fingers behind her knees and drive her crazy, But I can also take one of my many artist paint brushes do the same thing and each one will give a totally different response. or a Q-tip, or even the right kind of feather.</br>
It just depends on what kind of tickling you are going after. </br>

And sometimes it is easier to get to a spot with a tool then it is with a finger. like someone with small feet and small toes... your finger will fit in OK but a lot of time your finger is spreading the toes apart so much and with so much pressure that half of the tickling sensation is lost. They will laugh and giggle but it is a lot more tolerable. Now you take a pipe cleaner on the same toe and the light touching of the fuzzy texture and it drives them totally crazy. Same with a small or shallow navel sometimes a paintbrush is going to work better because you do not have to press as hard to get to the sensitive spots that are ruined by sticking your finger in there like your picking your nose.</br>

And sometimes it is just more sadistic. i mean come on yeah I could use my finger to play the guess what I am writing on the arch of your foot. But if I use a Magic Marker, not only do i get to play the game guess what I am writing but I also get to play the game of hey lets get the soft scrub brush and scrub what I just wrote off the foot as well.</br>

There are people that respond more to instruments than that of a finger.</br>

Or maybe as an example, if the feet are tied right you can run 8 pipe cleaners in between someones toes with one hand and with the other use your nails to scribble up and down the soles of the foot. Or around the ankles or under the knees... or around the inner thighs or numerous other places.

Hands on here, at least 95% of the time. Love the feel of my lady's skin on fingers, lips. Use feathers, artist brushes, mix it up from time to time.

I just think it's more personal when mechanics aren't always involved.

Some people do not wish to have personal or intimate tickling with another person. For example, if the lee you are tickling is married or if you are not sexually attracted or want to be too personal with someone.

And then there are those of us, who have physical limitations (like neurological damage) that simply can not wiggle and use our fingers for 2 or 3 hours or some even 10-20 minutes is a chore. It is nice to be able to experiment with new things to give those fingers a rest.

Not to mention, sometimes switching between dozens of textures using tools can make the fingers even MORE sensitive tickling those places.

Just a few thoughts.

Although, I consider myself fairly dexterious and I'd need a break myself after 20 minutes of straight tickling.

I'm with Crystal here. I prefer fingers all the way. The tickling is so much better and it is just more enjoyable to me. Tools, yeah they may work, but it's more of an annoyance than it is pleasure....at least for me...

It should be noted as well that fingers leave less of a carbon footprint and have a much shorter halflife!
