:evileye:Okay so something interesting happened to me today at work. I worked my usual closing shift. Most of you know that I do floral design for a craft store. I just recently found out that this year I was in the Top 10 Performers in the country with the company; I'm really good at what I do. My work station is in the middle of the store, so I pretty much hear all and see all as well. I noticed this guy that was maybe in his early 30's. He was just walking past my area and kind of staring at me oddly. I made nothing of it really because I see all kinds of people. Then I noticed he was staring at me everytime he passed by and he kind of had this creepy goofy smile on his face. So I'm working away, making some fall wreaths for display, and THERE HE IS AGAIN! It kind of started to get a little annoying so I began to ignore it; I had too much work to do. Without watching him or paying attention, he walks behind my station and wiggles one finger in my ribcage. I flinched because 1. it scared the shit out of me and 2. it tickled. I looked to see who it was and it was him. Okay if you happen to be that guy and your reading this....don't do that. Do you have any idea how creepy that is for a model? Not just a model but for a woman? You want to meet me or something? What's wrong with just walking up and saying hello? I would have taken that a little easier than some stranger trying to tickle, another stranger that just happens to make tickle porn.

I swear that people have, in general, forgotten that, "Hello, I'm _____." is really a good way to introduce yourself. Perhaps the best way.

I hope that if they see you again, an apology is the first thing out of their body towards yours!

Lee

What a douche. That's the right way to go for a broken finger.

that is totally creepy. who the hell does that? in public???

Yeah...not just because it's Tortuga...but that's not ok.

Beyond the obvious reasons, think about this: Lots of women carry mace/tasers/firearms/chinese broadswords...whatever. Lee's method sounds much safer.

fuck tasers. Id use the broadsword and chop off their hands. Then Id taser them

It was totally uncalled for behavior....beyond rude and definitely creepy. I don't blame you for being upset....that guy was way out of line. Heck, I'm a guy and would be creeped out by a stranger (male or female) approaching me like that at work; if we know one another and it's a casual setting, no problem....but not at work by someone I don't know.

I really trying to be calm about it, I thankfully have tomorrow off to kind of recovery my thoughts and mind set.

Why didn't you say something??? Like "Get the fuck away from me pervert!" Sorry that happened to you.

peace out,
daddy

Well my boss was right around the corner and I'm not really one to make a scene, especially at work. And I was still in a stocking state of mind. I mean the first thing I thought of was "fuck is he from the forum?"

Darlin'! I could not agree more. This dude was a creep. There are some of guys that just have respect for woman. This type of guy has no rspect for woman or himself. He can make guys i general look really bad. Sorry for your experience. :twohugs:

Perhaps he thought you'd like it because it's a fetish...well....

Ugh seriously? Sorry, that's really inappropriate and very creepy. Hope this message makes it to him and he gets it.

:tank: What a douche....you should of just broken his finger....

It would be a hell of an odd coincidence, but I really, REALLY hope that it's just a simple case of someone mistaking you for a friend or something. Otherwise... Ugh. That's some pretty fucked up behavior.

Yes, hopefully he'll read this and understand that that wasn't the way to approach.

It's possible (hopeful) he's harmless, and in his internet-fantasy world he's seen your face here so often he THINKS you're familiar and all that,
not really thinking it through ---- He's not familiar to YOU ----

And he probably did think that since you participate here so much, or as a tickle model, etc., that you might not mind ---- but he's again living in that internet fantasy, :roseglasses: and needs to approach you normally.

That's obviously the danger when people don't socialize more in person, so many lose touch with normal social graces & normal modes of interaction :ermm: Especially younger kids or adults now who've grown up with this as a major source of communication....

So here's hoping he's harmless & misunderstood ---- and open to changing his manners & seeing that that isn't the way to approach a woman....

If this has scared him off, hopefully he'll either learn from it or come by and approach normally with an apology for touching a stranger without permission ---

And just in case, I'm sure those hidden security cameras got a few really good shots of his face from different angles!!

What an inappropriate fuck. Did he actually say anything after he did that? Or did he creepily retreat? I mean I have seen the raw power of the Turtle stinkeye. ;)

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. I would hope that any member of this forum would know better than to do something that might draw MORE negative attention to this thing we enjoy so much.
Sorry you had to be the victm of that creep.

:( Sorry.... that's beyond the pale. I would think about mentioning it to your boss. No employee should have to undergo such harassment.
