Landing in a secluded part in Bisanthium!
[Reason for BOLD writing, cuz I know Kalamos will be put into a tizzy over this
Sorry Kalamos, but I am getting bored just watching from the sidelines, and YES I do have Country's permission to control Waylander for the time being!]
Night Raptor had been flying with an excess load for a good twenty minutes and he was growing more and more tired by the second.
"I need to land," Night Raptor said to Waylander, "Hang on tight."
"Okay NR," Waylander replied as Night Raptor circled for a few moments until he found a good hiding place for him to rest at.
Once landed, Waylander got off of Night Raptor's back and assisted Katie down to the ground.
"Can you turn back into your human form now Night Raptor?" Katie asked NR.
"No," NR replied in a hoarse voice, "This form will get us to any place faster than anything else, and please keep your voice down."
"Okay," Katie whispered back, "Sorry for bothering you."
"Quite all right," Night Raptor replied, "I will be fine in a few moments."
While Night Raptor was resting, Katie and Waylander were on guard.
"Do you have any idea where he is taking us?" Katie asked Waylander.
"One of two places," Waylander replied, "He is taking us to either Port Kaphraktos or to his home in the mountains where no mortals, like us, have ever been to."
"I see," Katie said with some fear, "I hope he is taking us to Port Kaphraktos."
"Why is that?" waylander asked.
"Because I am afraid," Katie began, "What if there are other dragons in the mountains that he might ber taking us to?"
"Good point," Waylander commented, "But I doubt that any harm will come to us if we stay with NR."
"No harm will come to any human in The Mountains of Everlasting Fire," NR chimed in, "As long as they stay with the dragon that brought them there."
"Oh good," Katie stated with relief, "That's good to know."
"So what happens now?" Waylander asked.
"We rest," NR replied, "And get it while you can, we may have to leave soon in order to prevent discovery."
"Right," Katie said, "Night y'all."
NR rested, but did not sleep, but Katie ans Waylander did sleep.
"Get it while you can," NR said to himself, "Especially you Waylander for if you fall asleep while I am in the air, it could mean the end of you and Katie."
So the group rested and/or sleeped on hoping that it would be a while before trouble came 'knocking at their door'.

Day 4 - Port Kaphraktos!
Another day working at the bar in The Poison Apple Tavern, Hugh was becoming familiar with 'The War for the Throne' as locals called it. Robert, Cathy, NIGHTMARE, and Cornelius also heard about the different fractions and which side the locals were joining and why they were joining that side.
"I think that it is better to remain neutral," Cathy said at the group's meeting on this day, "If you pick a side, then you are a slave to that side, remaining neutral states that you are your own boss."
"That maybe true Cathy," NIGHTMARE commented, "But it also means that everyone else in the war will either kill you, capture you, or pay you off to join their side."
"Touche," Cathy replied, "I know that part, but what is the point of joining a side where you know that the odds of death, injury, and capture are greater than being out on your own?"
"Well we don't know that Cathy," Robert said, "But for now, we will just wait and not get involved with the war for now."
"To hell with that," Cornelius growled, "I want action NOW!"
"Calm down," NIGHTMARE snarled, "It will happen eventually. Sooner or later recruits for the fractions will make their way here."
"Fine," Cornelius replied, "If you need me, I will be in my room." With that said, Cornelius got up and left the meeting room and went upstairs to his assigned room.
"He'll be all right in a few," Cathy told the others.
"I sure hope so," NIGHTMARE commented, "He had an evil twinkle in his eye."
"A lot of vengeful souls are like that," Robert stated, "Let us adjourn and discuss this matter at a later date." With that said, everyone else left the meeting room and went about their daily activities.

Day 4 - Bisanthium
NR was very restless. Waylander and even Katie could tell that something was bothering him.
"What is troubling you master," Katie asked Night Raptor.
"A family matter," Night Raptor replied, "My half brother Draco is in danger, but he doesn't know it yet and I am unable to coonect with him telepathically."
"You can do that?" Waylander asked.
"Of course," Night Raptor replied, "All dragons and half dragons can, except for the ones who don't have dragon blood flowing in their veins."
"How will we recongize them?" Katie asked.
"Simple," NR replied, "They have a brown dragon arm and wear armor whether it is just boots, or the whole deal."
"Interesting," Waylander said, "But do you know where Draco is now?"
"Yes," Night Raptor responded, "He is in Arthenas trying to track me down."
"Oh lord," Katie replied, "We need to go and get him as soon as possible."
"Why is that?" Night Raptor asked.
"That is a slave town," Katie replied, "And someone like your brother would make a fine slave to serve an evil purpose, if he gets caught that is."
NR hissed, his eyes flared, and he was filled with hatred. "I will destroy that town if my brother is harmed."
"Calm down my friend," Waylander said, "We have to go and get your brother, but you, in this form or even in your human form, are at risk."
"That is right master," Katie said while taking out a piece of paper, "You are a wanted man."
Night Raptor and Waylander looked at the Wanted Poster. It read: "WANTED: Half Human, Half Dragon man in connection with the death of Ayal in Bisanthium. The person or persons responsible for his capture get to name their price. Description: 6' 9" tall, very muscular, long orange hair, scar on left side of his face. Wears Red silk robes, and black boots. Carries and uses Wooden Staff, 2 razor sharp knives, and a Scythe. He may transform into a full dragon to minimize capture. Reward will double for the capture of the one called 'Night Raptor' in his full dragon form."
With exchanged looks, Night Raptor was engraged.
"Go to Arthenas," Night Raptor told Waylander and Katie, "He will remember you Waylander, go to him and tell him that I have returned to our birthplace home."
"Where are you going master?" Katie asked.
"I am going home," NR replied, "No mortal has ever survived in The Mountains of Everlasting Fire without a dragon escort." With that said, Night Raptor leaped into the air and began flying to the north.
"I should have never shown him that paper," Katie said with tears flowing down her face, "Now I am all alone."
"You still have me here to protect you," Waylander told Katie, "And it was best that you showed him now instead of later when it would have been too late."
"You really think so," Katie sobbed.
"Of course I do," Waylander said, "Come on, let's go get Draco."
"Okay," Katie said with renewed happiness.

Traveling to Arthenas!
Katie and Waylander started out for Arthenas to locate Draco. Night Raptor had given Katie her money back and Katie rented a carriage to take her and Waylander from Bisanthium to Arthenas.
"This will gets us to Arthenas faster than walking," Katie said to Waylander.
"I hope so," Waylander replied while checking his weapon, "The faster, the better."
"I agree," Katie commented, "Shall we be off?"
"Yes we shall," Waylander replied, "We shall indeed." Waylander helped Katie into the carriage and the climbed in himself.
"Proceed driver," Katie said to the driver of the carriage.
"Yes my lady," replied Jack the carriage driver. With that said, Jack gave the reins a snap, and off rolled the carriage to Arthenas.

Day 4 - The Mountains of Everlasting Fire!
With no passengers to carry, Night Raptor made really good time and distance since leaving Bisanthium. Roughly 4 hours later, NR was passing over Kathadum Thanates border.
"I need some rest before continuing on my journey," Night Raptor said to himself, "And if I land outside of this town, then I might be safe during my rest before heading out later on in the morning."
So Night Raptor landed and found a wooden area in which to rest after flying for 6 hours and 45 minutes straight with no break. Still in his dragon form, NR laid down and slept. When he awoke, Night Raptor began to search the woods for some food. Night Raptor was successful in catching some wildlife, but it was not enough for a meal.
"It is not much," Night Raptor said to himself, "But it will be sufficient in getting back to my mountain home before I need to eat again." After Night Raptor finished eating, he took to the sky again. After a two hour long flight, Night Raptor landed on his perch outside of his cave in The Mountains of Everlasting Fire.
"It is so good to be home again," Night Raptor said as he went into his cave. NR went to his kitchen cave, and prepared a meal for himself. As Night Raptor was finishing up his lunch, he heard a thud outside of his cave's mouth and then heard the soft scrapings of scales entering his cave.
"WHO DARES ENTER THE CAVE OF NIGHT RAPTOR," Night Raptor hissed from the kitchen.
"It is I," hissed a voice, "Takko."
"Takko?" Night Raptor questioned as he stepped out of the kitchen cave into the hallway, "Well it is you Takko, how's it going friend?"
"It is going rather well," Takko replied, "I came to take care of your cave, and I have been while you were away."
"Thanks my friend," NR stated, "It is so good to be home again."
"It is nice seeing you again NR," Takko commented, "We have a new dragon king."
"Really," NR said, "Who is it?"
"Nintimbo," Takko responded.
"I see," Night Raptor replied, "Well Nintimbo is a good one."
"Yes he is," Takko replied, "But as you know, he hates you and has ever since you killed his best friend who was your father as well."
"I know," Night Raptor said, "Let me guess, he doesn't want me here at all."
Takko nodded sadly and said, "That is correct, but most of us understood why you did it and disagree with Nintimbo on that call."
"Nintimbo is an idiot," Night Raptor stated coldly, "If he thinks that he can force me to do anything, then he will end up like my father."
"He will try something," Takko said, "When he finds out that you are here."
"Let him," NR sneered, "I will send him to his grave."
"I know you will," Takko said, "And I stand with you all the way, but I must go now."
"Okay," Night Raptor replied, "Thank you for your warning, your friendship, and take care of yourself."
"I will," Takko said as he left the cave, "I will see you later." With that said, Takko took off and flew to his own cave.
Night Raptor watched Takko go and then went back inside to rest after all, he would need it if he and Nintimbo were going to duel to the death.

The ride was comfortable for both Waylander and Katie. They started out for Arthenas at 0900 hours and the carriage had travelled 30 miles in 6 hours. The carriage stopped and Jack said, "Time for a dinner."
"I agree," Katie replied, "I am starving."
"Me too," Waylander commented as he climbed out of the carriage and helped Katie, "Time for dinner indeed."
Katie, Jack, and Waylander went in to the Saber Smith Tavern to have lunch. After lunch, Jack climbed into the driver's seat of the carriage, while Waylander helped Katie climb into the carriage, and then Waylander climbed in. Then they resumed their journey towards Arthenas.
"Time to take a nap," Katie said as she stretched out, "Good night."
"Okay," Waylander replied, "Sweet dreams."
"Thanks," Katie said.
While Katie slept, Waylander stared out the window thinking about what to do next, and how to convince Draco to leave with them. He also wondered about how Draco would react towards Katie at first. The carriage ambled on and pretty soon Waylander dozed off and slept.

Day 4 - Confrontation in The Mountains of Everlasting Fire!
When Nintimbo found out that Night Raptor had returned to the mountains, he was furious. Nintimbo flew directly to NR's cave and roared, "NIGHT RAPTOR, GET YOU ASS OUT HERE NOW!"
There came the sound of thunder as Nintimbo fell to the ground. What caused that was Night Raptor who flew like a bullet into Nintimbo.
"HOW DARE YOU CHALLENGE ME!" Night Raptor in his human with dragon wings form shouted, "You will meet your end RIGHT NOW!"
Nintimbo hissed and growled, "You are going to be the one to die today Night Raptor."
Suddenly, Nintimbo got up and slashed at Night Raptor. Night Raptor barely managed to dodge Nintimbo's claws.
"Owwwwwwwwwww," NR yelled as one of Nintimbo's claws sliced his face, "DAMN YOU NINTIMBO TO HELL!"
With that said, Night Raptor began his assault on Nintimbo, slashing left, dodging to the right, and stabbed. After 20 minutes of battling, the fight was over. Night Raptor was victorious. Night Raptor went to the top of his cave and gave a long, loud roar that echoed throughout the entire Mountains of Everlasting Fire and could be heard for miles around.
After his victory, Night Raptor went inside to bandage his wound.
"That bastard," Night Raptor said as he saw his newest facial wound, "Well it could be worst."
Night Raptor then had a feast of the flesh of his former foe Nintimbo. After his feast, Night Raptor slept for the remainder of the day.
When Nintimbo found out that Night Raptor had returned to the mountains, he was furious. Nintimbo flew directly to NR's cave and roared, "NIGHT RAPTOR, GET YOU ASS OUT HERE NOW!"

Night Raptor then had a feast of the flesh of his former foe Nintimbo. After his feast, Night Raptor slept for the remainder of the day.

Day 4 - Approaching Dark on the Road to Arthenas!
Waylander was awakened by the faint, distant, by clearly the roaring of a dragon.
"That was Night Raptor's roar," Waylander said to himself, "I hope everything is all right with him."
Katie stirred by did not wake up. Waylander looked out the window, and judging by the sun's position, it was close to dinner time and soon it will be dark. Waylander tried to wake Katie up, but unfortunately for her, she did not awake. An evil grin came to Waylander's face as he remembered Katie's weakness, EXTREMELY TICKLISH ON THE SOLES OF HER BARE FEET! Slowly Waylander reached out a placed Katie's feet into his lap. Katie giggled, and murmured something, but she didn't open her eyes. Slowly and carefully, Waylander untied Katie's boots and then with equal caution, Waylander pulled off Katie's boots and socks.
"My word," Waylander said to himself, "Katie has the most beautiful feet that I have ever seen. So soft, so silky smooth, and so sensitive."
With a silent chuckle, Waylander inched his fingers closer and closer to Katie's soles.
"Tickle tickle tickle," Waylander said aloud as his raked his fingers up and down Katie's soles.
Katie's eyes snapped wide open, laughter erupted out of her, and she laughed, "Hahahahahaha, stahahahahop ticklheheing mehehehe."
"Oh good," Waylander said as he stopped tickling Katie, "You're awake."
"Yes I am," Katie stated as she put her socks and boots back on, "How could I sleep with you tickling my feet?"
"You couldn't" Waylander remarked, "That was the point, by the way, it is time for dinner and to get a room for the night."
Katie looked out the window and said, "I agree, it is that time."
Jack noticed too and shortly there after he stopped the carriage and all left the carriage and went into a Inn. They all had dinner together and they got two rooms, one for Jack and one for Waylander and Katie.
"We'll want to get started fairly early tomorrow," Waylander said before he, Katie, and Jack went to bed, "So let's get some sleep."
"Agreed," Jack said, "Night everyone."
"Night Jack," Katie said as Jack went into his room and she and Waylander went into their room, "Night Waylander."
"Good Night Katie," Waylander said.
The candle was blown out and everyone went to sleep in their assigned rooms.

How to get started!
[Master Jupiterian Talk On!] (OOC: It is real simple my friend. First thing is to create a character and submit that to Kalamos for a review of your character. Then when Kalamos acepts your character, you can join the fun! Kalamos then will direct you where you should post and create an action for you! Then you just type how you character reacts, thinks, feels, and so on. There are 2 kinds of posts here, In Character and Out Of Character. What you did and what I am doing are considered OOC or Out Of Character posts. In character is a few posts above this one where it talks about my characters Robert, Cathy, NIGHTMARE, Cornelius, Draco, and Night Raptor. Katie, Hugh, and Jack are NPC's, which means that you can control them. Waylander is NOT one of mine, or a NPC, he belongs to TTC Member Country, but Country is unable to 'play' for now, so I have Country's permission to control Waylander 'til Country can resume control of Waylander. Simple rules here are: 1.) No killing another player's character without their consent, 2.) No controling another player's character without their permission, 3.) Questions, actions, battles, etc. that involve another player, like me to Country (when he was a steady participant), required me waiting for Country to post before moving on, and 4.) Killing NPC's is allowed as long as it is not an important one, like the King. I hope you are able to play. Feel free to PM me with any other questions that you might have or PM Kalamos, who is one moderator of this RPG. If he doesn't allow you to create a character, then talk to me and I will allow you to control one of my NPCs.

Day 4 - Arthenas!
"So," Katie began, "How will we recognize Draco?"
"Simply," Waylander replied, "very tall, green hair worn in a ponytail, and red eyes."
"Wow," Katie said, "Red eyes eh?"
"Yes," Waylander answered, "Red eyes, Blood Red Eyes."
"That would be very freaky," Katie stated, "Looking into or having Blood Red Eyes looking at you."
"Yes it is," Waylander said, "You just have to realize that is how dragons are, even half ones. Their eye colors are unique by their standards, but by ours, they are strange and creepy."
"Interesting," Katie commented, "Very interesting."
Soon, dinner time came. At the first convient spot, the carriage stopped, and everyone climbed down/out of the carriage and had dinner. After dinner, it was back to the carriage and back on the road.
"Arthenas dead ahead," Jack said as the carriage came into view of Arthenas.
"Very good," Katie said, "Head for the nearest place that rents rooms and we'll go from there in the morning."
"Yes ma'am," Jack replied as the carriage entered the town of Arthenas.
When they got to the nearest Inn, it was dusk. The group got out and got rooms for the evening.
"Tomorrow is a big day," Waylander said, "We should get as much sleep as possible and begin the search in the morning."
"Agreed," Katie stated, "Good night everyone."
"Good night," Jack said as he entered his room.
The group went to sleep right away and they were contemplating tomorrow's activity.

Day 4 - King of The Mountains of Everlasting Fire!
Since the defeat of Nintimbo, all of the adult dragons got together to determine who the next King of the Mountain would be.
"Clearly the job should go to Night Raptor," Takko stated, "No other could have possibly defeated Nintimbo so quickly."
"Hold on there Takko," Albul said, "Yes he did defeat Nintimbo very quickly, but never in the history of dragons has a half dragon, half human earned the title of 'King of the Mountians'."
"I agree," Gar stated, "No halfing has ever be King, and why should we start now?"
"Because," Takko said, "If he killed Nintimbo that quickly, he can do the same to each and every one of us who defies him."
"Good point," said Roc the eldest dragon of all who were present, "And at my age, one well placed blow will end my life. So I vote NR the next King of the Mountains."
All of the dragons roared in unisom to signify that Night Raptor has earned the title of 'King of the Mountains'.

Day 4 - Night Raptor's new job!
Takko went to NR's cave to tell him the news. When he got to the entrance of Night Raptor's cave there was a sign post that read, WARNING: This cave is very hot with rage and blood! KNOCK AND STATE YOUR NAME BEFORE ENTERING!
Takko wondered briefly what the sign meant, but he knocked and called out, "This is Takko, NR."
"Come in my friend," replied Night Raptor in a hissing voice, "Meet me in the kitchen."
Takko entered and went to the kitchen. A few minutes later, Night Raptor entered and startled Takko with his appearance.
"What in the world happened to you?" Takko gasped at the sight of Night Raptor.
"The bandage on my face," NR replied, "Nintimbo!" Night Raptor was in his human form, wearing a blood soaked bandage on his face where Nintimbo slashed him. Night Raptor also had no shirt on, wearing silver shorts, barefoot, and his hair was cut and dyed. Night Raptor now had short, spikey, silver hair. "The rest is of my own design for when I head back to the human world."
"I must admit that it is an improvement," Takko said, "But I doubt that you will be leaving here as soon as you think."
"What is that supposed to mean?" NR questioned Takko.
"You have been voted in as the next King of the Mountains," Takko said with dignity.
Night Raptor lost his balance and fell at this announcement.
"I am the new king?" NR asked when he recovered from the shock.
"Yes Your Majesty," Takko said with a bow, "You are indeed."
"Well I'll be," Night Raptor said, "I keep my cave though, and you will be my 2nd-In-Command."
"You got it sire," Takko said, "Thank you."

Looking at the note from Goradus and leaving his office and building
"Thank you Goradus," Draco said before Goradus left the room.
Draco puzzled over the envelope in his hand, shrugged his shoulders and left Goradus's office and then the building. Looking at the note, Draco realized that he would be able to track down NR after all. Draco was about to transform into a full dragon and fly home, when he sensed a stronger feelong of 'being hunted'. Since he was outside of the building, Draco knew that someone else in Arthenas was hunting him.
"Now the hunter has become the hunted," Draco said to himself with a smile. Draco created a clone of himself and hid in an alley and waited.
A short time later, Waylander and Katie saw Draco (or so they thought) standing outside of a building and looking at a piece of paper. When they got close to the clone, he disappeared.
"Where did he go?" Katie asked.
"I don't know," Waylander said.
"Behind you," said a voice from behind Katie and Waylander.
Waylander and Katie turned, jumped back, and sighed.
"Waylander," Draco stated questionably, "What are you doing here?"
"Looking for you," Waylander said, "Your brother was worried about you being here."
"I see," Draco said, "And who is this lovely lady?"
"I am Katie Jones," Katie replied, "Loyal servent of your brother."
"So you lost your freedom to NR by 'The Coin' eh?" Draco asked.
"Yes," Katie repiled looking embarassed.
"Well," Draco said, "Nice meeting you Katie, and good seeing you again Waylander but I must be off."
"Come with us Draco," Waylander said and then whispering to Draco, "Katie is very ticklish."
"Oh is she now," Draco said, "Perhaps I will accompany you all."
Katie with a look a worry and fear on her face said, "Remember, I serve Night Raptor."

"He went home," Waylander replied.
"Good," Draco said, "Then let's go."

"Why do you keep looking at me like that?" Katie asked Draco when she felt uncomfortable with Draco's stares.
"I am sizing you up," Draco replied, "Also trying to figure out what my brother wants with you."
"He wants me for a slave," Katie replied, "And 'sizing me up' for what?"
"For this," Draco said as he grabbed Katie's ankles and slowly removed her boots.
"NO, NOT THAT," Katie yelled with pure panic in her face.
"It won't last long my dear," Draco stated as he removed Katie's socks and licked his lips at the sight of her beautiful soles, "My, your soles look delicious."
"Please don't," Katie whimpered, "I HATE being tickled."
"Would you rather I lick or use my fingers on your soles?" Draco asked mischieviously.
"Neither," Katie said, "But if you must tickle me, then use your fingers."
"Okay," Draco said, "Fingers it is."
Draco uses his strong hand to grasp Katie's ankles and his uses his other to tickle the soles of Katie's bare feet.
"Hahahahaha, please stop," Katie laughed. To her surprise, the tickling stopped, and she felt her socks and boots being put back on her feet. Katie looked puzzledly at Draco.
"I told you it wouldn't last long," Draco said smugly, "And I'll bet that you had to put your socks and boot back on after being tickled, didn't you?"
"Yes," Katie replied, "Thank you for doing that for me."
"You're welcome," Draco said.
And so the group continued their course to Bis.

NIGHTMARE and Cornelius spent many hours training, and fighting to cure their boredom. Robert, Cathy, and Hugh watched them to make sure that they didn't kill one another, and ran the Tavern.

Day 4 - Night Raptor's mountain top perch!
Night Raptor loved spending numerous hours on his favorite mountain top perch, which was the highest point on the very top of his cave looking out over the world.
"My lord," Takko said, "Activity is brewing in the marshes and other towns."
"I know," Night Raptor responded, "Humans are out in force more and more these days since I killed Ayal and overall wreaked havoc in Bisanthium."
"That is true," Takko replied, "But at least you have a disguise of some sorts now."
"Not really," NR commented, "But I will agree with you that my new look has certain advantages."
"King Night Raptor," a new dragon said, "Trouble is headed our way."
"Trouble," NR stated, "What kind of trouble?"
"An army of warriors," the new dragon said, "Humans and elves sir."
"What in the world are elves coming here for?" Night Raptor questioned.
"It seems that they want to take us all captive sir," the dragon replied.
"How many dragons are able to fight?" Night Raptor asked.
"Out of the 500 hundred dragons," the dragon stated, "300 are able to fight, the rest a either too old or too young to engage warriors of any sort at the moment. There are 1,000 human warriors and 4,000 elf warriors in that army sir."
"These mountains are ours," Night Raptor hissed, "We will not give them up without a fight."

"Let Vesuvius do it's thing," NR growled.
"Vesuvius," Takko said in astonishment, "That might kill us all, including surrounding towns."
Night Raptor hissed and glared at Takko, "Vesuvius erupts tonight, PERIOD."
"Yes sir," Takko said, "Should we vacate the area?"
"Those who hold the future for our kind yes," NR stated, "Those who want to stay, have that option."
"Yes sir," Takko and the other dragon said together and left to carry out NR's orders.
"Tonight marks the most destruction of human life I have ever embarked on," Night Raptor said to himself , turning to look at Vesuvius, Night Raptor smiled, and said, "Vesuvius, you will strike fear into the humans near and far after tonight."
Night Raptor jumped down from his perch and went into his cave, while the ground shook and rumbling could be heard from Vesuvius.
Night Raptor loved spending numerous hours on his favorite mountain top perch, which was the highest point on the very top of his cave looking out over the world.
"My lord," Takko said, "Activity is brewing in the marshes and other towns."
"I know," Night Raptor responded, "Humans are out in force more and more these days since I killed Ayal and overall wreaked havoc in Bisanthium."
"That is true," Takko replied, "But at least you have a disguise of some sorts now."
"Not really," NR commented, "But I will agree with you that my new look has certain advantages."
"King Night Raptor," a new dragon said, "Trouble is headed our way."
"Trouble," NR stated, "What kind of trouble?"
"An army of warriors," the new dragon said, "Humans and elves sir."
"What in the world are elves coming here for?" Night Raptor questioned.
"It seems that they want to take us all captive sir," the dragon replied.
"How many dragons are able to fight?" Night Raptor asked.
"Out of the 500 hundred dragons," the dragon stated, "300 are able to fight, the rest a either too old or too young to engage warriors of any sort at the moment. There are 1,000 human warriors and 4,000 elf warriors in that army sir."
"These mountains are ours," Night Raptor hissed, "We will not give them up without a fight."

The Silencing of Vesuvius
Night Raptor went back onto his perch as Vesuvius continued to rumble and shake the ground.
"My lord," Takko said, "The army has retreated and appears to have left the mountains for good."
"That is good," Night Raptor said, "What other news do you have?"
"Vesuvius won't erupt," Takko said, "All of the dragons remain sir."
"I know that Vesuvius won't erupt," NR commented, "Vesuvius can't without Draco here to make it erupt."
"Correct sir," Takko said, "Draco made Vesuvius and he only can cause an eruption, the only thing that Vesuvius can do in his absence is what it is doing now."
"Good," Night Raptor said, "As long as it strikes fear into the humans, that is all I care about."
"Well my lord," Takko said, "Then you got what you cared about. The humans the we have tracked are fear struck."
"Good," Night Raptor said with a chuckle, "That is how it should be."
Takko and Night Raptor laughed over that for a while and then Takko left.
"I love my job," NR said to himself.
Vesuvius continued to rumble, but nothing more than that.
