WARCRAFT was a damn good movie.

I went see WARCRAFT this weekend, even after reading the terrible reviews.

Boy did I think the critics were wrong, I loved it!!

I have never played any World of Warcraft games, or any role playing games ever, and I completely understood
everything that was going on. The critics claimed to be confused, but I think this is a recent trend of "confused"
critics not paying attention and/or tweeting during the movie, thus missing story.

Rotten Tomatoes had it best I guess - Critics gave it 27% approval, an F, while 83% of audiences loved it.....

I enjoyed it far more than Alice in Wonderland 2 and X-Men Age of Apocalypse....though I wanted to enjoy X-Men...

You know, most of the time I agree with the critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but sometimes I don't. Examples: I absolutely loved Tron Legacy, but it only received a 51%. Same with 30 Seconds or Less. On the other side of things, I didn't like Tree of Life, and that received pretty good reviews. *shrugs*

At any rate, I might give Warcraft a chance. Thanks for sharing!

I think it's because supposedly I heard it's based around the storyline of the old school games, not so much the "world of" series.

We loved the movie. I was curious how they were going to incorporate the language barrier when meeting with durotan but it worked like a charm. Felt as if a few details concerning the Fel were not what I remembered or thought they should be, but hell, this is the first description I'm aware of with the opening of the dark portal for the first time.

I'm seeing this tonight! Really excited since I like fantasy movies. Never played WOW though, but the commercials and trailer looked good.
