I use it and I've never heard of this and I don't think it would play that much of a role in my life anyways. I DVR for the purpose to see shows I can't be around for, not necessarily to fast forward through commercials. Although it is nice. If they take this privilege away, that still doesn't mean I'm going to actually watch these commercials.
