I can't name the tune, but I think it's hilarious that the suckerpunched Brit was driving a Mini. :D

Is it from the Peter O'Toole movie "My Favorite Year" ?

I have no idea who performed it, though.

One of my favorite episodes! The music is from an old Errol Flynn Swashbuckler movie called "The Sea Hawk."

I haven't seen that in ages! Is that from the scene where they escape the dungeons? I keep picturing that as the music is playing. The music score for the movie was written by Erich Wolfgang Korngold. (I imdb'd it.)

I know not what the music is called, but The clips epical!

Outfuckingstanding!

John, you just plain fucking RAWK! :headbang: Thanks a zillion, bro! Ann, you get first runner-up and an E for effort!

You're quite welcome. I grew up watching classic Earl Flynn. Here's my favorite scene:

OMG, mine too! When the Spanish ship unlimbers a broadside and they all laugh at the results, and then they teach them some proper English marksmanship, taking down the colors with one shot. Good show!

I'd say they just don't make them like this anymore, but in light of the POTC movies, I'm sure Mr. Depp, Mr. Bloom, and Ms. Knightly would take exception to that overstatement. But still. I miss the thrill of Tyrone Power and Errol Flynn movies.

Curse you, alchemy! Now, I need to find a copy of the movie and watch the whole thing again! lol I don't mind coming in second. I wouldn't like the grog anyway. 'Tis all yours, mate.

(BTW, that's a good curse.)

For those of us in the Midwest back 20+ years ago, this used to be a regular film on WGN's "Family Classics"....along with every Doug McClure movie they could find.....

Ah...memories.... :D
