If you had a choice of one place on earth to travel to , where would choose to go and why ?

Always wanted to visit The Land Down Under myself.I met quite a few Aussies when i lived in Houston,and they are great folks.Also i think it's a beautiful country.

wow, thats a hard one.....ive never been to california, so probably there would be my choice, so much to do out there.....i wouldnt mind visiting germany again though, its a beautiful place........

I'd travel to Alphabet City (Grammar County), in the wonderful Orthographic Republic, mainly to learn more about spelling...

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously: I'd love to visit my beloved Edinburgh again. But if you're asking me for a desired destination where I haven't been yet, my answer would be Buenos Aires.

I really love Hawaii--most of my family lives there and I love Bermuda for its kookiness and bizarre rules but if I had to pick one place, I'd visit Sicily and investigate my roots.

There so many places i want to see that i could never pick just one. I never really have done a whole lot of travelling. So here is my list, YAY.

1. I want to sit on the railroad trestle over the Fish River in Ft. Kent, Maine and watch the sun set one last time.

2. I want to park myself on a cliffside on the coast of Ireland for a few hours.

3. I want to experience both Japanese Urban and Rural Culture.

4. I want to go somewere that sees a whole mess of snow and make a snowman that isn't made mostly of sleet, mud and pine needles (Houston doesn't see much snow)

I can tell ya snow is WAY overrated,i grew up in kansas but lived in Houston for 8 years and Austin for 10 years,give me Texas anytime.

anywhere but Beirut or Lebanon..sorry couldn't resist...actually there are two places for me. England/Scotland, home of my ancestors..i have always felt a connection to these places.. and Egypt, especially anything to do with ancient Egypt. Very fascinated with hieroglyphics and the tombs of the Pharoahs..

Yeah, it's nice out there. Better be in shape if you plan on walking on trails that go up some of those mountains, though...that's one hell of a workout. lol

It did snow once when i lived in Houston,had to be 1982 i believe.Less than a quarter inch,and it shut the whole city down lol.

Besides Philly and other states on the East Coast because they're home to some of the coolest people ever, I'd have to say Europe.

I can't pick just one place. Spain, Italy, Ireland, it's all good.

Like Snail Shell i too am a great admirer and know a lot about Japan, its people; culture; and language... And i also had this desire to visit a place in the Estates maybe even to live in, wich is Striders place... So my two choice destinations would have to be Los Angeles, California; and Japan.
