That's certainly a relief. My mom was diagnosed with thyroid cancer when I was a kid. She had to get her thyroid taken out and now she takes a pill to function as her thryoid. 😱 I know, it's a bit of an apples to oranges comparison, but at least I can empathize with you somewhat. ^^;; *hugz*

These procedures are pretty routine these days, they seem to have them down pat...I know it doesn't seem 'routine' to you and your Mom, I'm just saying that from the surgeon's perspective they do these things so often that the risk is just so low these days...I'm sure it will go well. Anyway, I know she must appreciate all your support.

BTW, sorry I didn't reply the first time you said hello on my board back in June...I didn't understand how this thing worked til I played around with it...
