I really like your take on it. I find it very hard to know the truth because I have been influenced by too many ghost stories to really know what their agenda may be outside of campfires and Hollywood. 🙂 Really makes me wonder as well what the trigger is to become a ghost, be it a chemical reaction as you die, or a super strong power of will, or God's plan, or whatever else.
We have NO idea why the picture fell, it's been up for months since I repainted that room yellow. It's a very heavy frame, we *think* that using the fireplace lately may have made that wall expand and contract and the single-point it was hanging from (my bad) was sturdy but slowly loosening over the last few weeks. And I'm not kidding, Bill was UP-SET, he couldn't even handle helping me clean up the pieces poor guy; it took him from 9pm to 3am Xmas Eve to build and it was gone in a split second
...and it was truly epic, it had ten working lights and everything; BUT it was waaayyy more fragile than it looked in the pic on Ebay, we weren't even sure we could get it from the family room to her bedroom without it falling apart. Ah well, we got to see her face on Christmas morning at least 
The picture didn't break, not even a scratch in the glass or frame
Um...that dollhouse? Yeah, the big Monty Python picture hanging over the fireplace randomly fell and completely smushed it two days after Christmas; Bill is STILL in mourning, he said if our actual house got destroyed he'd be less upset Rosie cried for a minute but recovered when we said we'd get her a better, more sturdy one for her birthday in April 🙂 We're just happy she wasn't playing with the dollhouse when the picture fell...
Tomorrow when I have better lighting I'll get footage of the kitten PWNING Shamwow Doggeh, it's *hilarious*
