There were several accidents yesterday, including one death. It amazed me how many people tried to travel yesterday before the roads were closed. Visibility was already crappy but people were out and about.
Yesterday was like a freak storm. We got maybe two inches of snow and over the weekend it had rained so the blizzard-like conditions were just bizarre. The wind gusts were so strong, blowing snow that should have been too frozen to blow. Visibility was so horrible they had to pull plows off and close the roads. With the roads closed I couldn't get home. Luckily I had a place to go to for the night.
I iz good. I got stranded in the neighboring town where I work, ended up staying at my mom's friend's house because of the weather last night. Boy, was it nasty! 😱

I don't know why the Vikes haven't challenged any of the calls. This is not the time to be Minnesota Nice.
