OK, according to this (which I consider to be the final say on G.I. Joe figures) you are correct! I guess my memory is faulty.
I had Zartan (and he changed color in the sunlight) and my sister had Zarana, and her figure did not change color at all. Are you sure you're recalling things correctly? Someone posted that you recently suffered a head injury in the Giant Clam thread...
