Aww, I'm sorry. It sucks losing a parent especially so young... because it doesn't seem like you're that old so in 2003 you must have been pretty young.
I've never lost a real parent to cancer, although my dad had a little cancer scare a couple years ago. I say "real parent" because I did lose a step-mom to cancer. I've also lost an aunt to cancer, a grandfather, a step-grandfather... I think my grandfather that died way before I was born also died of cancer. I have a brother that died of cancer at 5, but I never met him. That was a long time before I was born. My best friend had cancer but luckily he was able to get rid of it and is still alive..

that's no worries. my girlfriend just broke up with me yesterday so i'm quite devastated and will be delving on and off here occasionally.
