Oh my god... a thousand apologies, Moonknight! I don't know how I managed to overlook your post (like overlooking an elephant in the kitchen! Your usual glory of generous commentary!)... yet I've managed the unmanageable! So sorry for this late reply!
This installment was an absolute dream (pun fully intended!)!!!
The more I read, the better it got! And that's quite a feat considering that you started out with my favorite supporting cast member, Ms. Sparrow Hall! Naively enough, I thought the Sparrow scene would be the highlight of the episode for me, but you managed to top the thrill of even my favorite girl getting a little tickle curious! What can one say but, "Bravo!" ?!?
My grateful thanks! Sparrow's exploratory interest seemed a good lead-in to the more involved tickling scene between Angie and Fiona. Second fiddle: the disadvantage of being a tyro! Not for long, though... when one aches to walk on the wild side, one can't gripe when things turn wild! In a series concerned with personal growth, Ms. Hall will not be immune. She'll soon have a chapter that's essentially all her own... much mischievous play to experience after that, too!
First of all, I see a ton of potential in Mercy's new pal, Jenny! I love the way she snuck a playful lil' poke or two into Mercy's ribs in panel 17! That playful, impromptu girl/girl stuff is pure gold!
Very kind of you! Jenny is a character special to me. She's named after an old high-school chum, one I wish I'd gotten to know much better. The gypsy Jen doesn't really resemble her (except in that I see them both as beauties), but this still stands my tribute to her. I'm very pleased you enjoyed her one-panel "jolliness" tickle assault! It's so brief, it could have easy to miss! Jen will indeed have much to do in coming chapters... for the time being, she'll be Mercy's close friend and etiquette guide. And I don't think I'll be tipping too much to hint at a prolonged tickling encounter in her future!
Secondly, you know I'm fascinated by the concept of Mercy's manipulations of dream matter, so that vignette was also a more than effective teaser.
I'm very glad of that! Mercy's forays into Dreamtime's possibilities will be the most important factor to her burgeoning maturity. Chapter 13 will be devoted almost exclusively to this exploration.
Thirdly, and finally, the interraction/tickle fight between kindred spirits Angela and Fiona was the most exhilarating confrontation you've crafted thus far, and I'm not being hyperbolic. It was literally my favorite tickle scene in all of The Lowroads saga. I can't praise it enough.
Thanks so much! I'm very happy to hear you say that... I was afraid the encounter might come across as staticy, since little happens in it outside of the tussle (generally, I like to sow plot exposition into the fetish scenes, so they fulfill a dual purpose. The Angie/Fiona scene has rather less of that). The series' fetish action will gradually veer away from bondage and "forced" enjoyment (though never entirely... non-consensual tickling provides far too much verve to totally abandon). That's thematically important, as Mercy and Angie become increasingly empowered by the tickling milieu, the series' paramount aim. It becomes necessary, then, to devise alternate scenarios which deliver equal drama. I've worked out enough such situations for five or so chapters... after that, I gotta get creative!
Even the ending of that portion was great, the way we pan out to Mercy's gazing eye. At first, I thought that Mercy was watching her gleeful gal pal's joyous torments through the magic of dreamtime. Superb!
Thank you for letting me know that series of panels worked structurally! I tend to think these scenes through in cinematic terms... low and high angles, pans, tilts, tracking shots, canted angles, etc. ... , not all of which translate successfully to the page. This was an attempt to scene-transition without recourse to "Meanwhile, in Dreamtime... " narrative language. The "trade of irises" was intended to suggest a spiritual link between Mercy and Angie... close, even while physically separated. In that sense, Mercy'd most likely feel, rather than see, Angie's delight (though in a detached, non-comprehending fashion).
Fiona is great. She eclipsed even Jenny in the "debut character with a ton of potential as both a lee and a ler" department! (Try etching that one on a commemorative placard!) Like I said, the tale started out great (What an eruption from Sparrow! My, I can't wait to see her get it in the future!) and just kept getting better and better.
Thank you! I wanted Fiona to appear to be a wild child, receiving and offering pleasure in an uninhibited, instinctual way, impulsively and free from any hint of guilt. There's literally something feral about her, a hidden aspect which future episodes will reveal.
Sparrow is indeed destined to get her just desserts; and you, my friend, will have the best seat in the house! I plan this scene for Chapter 15, which (if I'm diligent) won't be very far away!
Low Roads, you're the king! Don't forget it!
Well, I'm certainly the king of very poor timing! Sorry once again for this delayed reply! And thanks once again for all your effort and attention to detail!
Amazing as always keep it up please
I certainly plan to, Cyro! Much, much more to come! My great appreciation for writing! It's the most rewarding incentive I can imagine!
