I'm testing the possibility of adding a chatroom with webcam capability, screw around with it please and report any problems you encounter.

I don't know ANYTHING about how this works, so any issues that come up, we'll all have to solve on the fly, but if it works, we could have a really fun new toy to play with.

so far it seems to be working great. To log in, use the button on the bottom left, which logs you in as a guest, or go to userplane.com and register for a full login.

If we use it permanantly, we'll intergrate it into the forum and it will automatically use your username.
 
ok so far we have four webcams that have been tested. Two, both macs, failed, and the two PC's worked. Please try yours and report the results in this thread!
 
I tried to register and it wouldn't let me. I kept getting the register field after each attempt.
 
kered, I had similar problems, be persistant man, it works eventually, try clearing your cookies and stuff.

OK. Finally figured it out and had a blast for three hours! This has great possibilities!:doublethrust:
 
I was having an issue in the beginning, about the first 15 or so minutes with it constantly disconnecting and reconnecting every 2 minutes or so.

But after that, it worked perfectly. I love this addition.

A lot of fun but too addicting...I just wasted an hour doing nothing...lol

has anyone with a mac been able to make their webcam work yet?
 
So everyone can see everyone once your cam is on? or can you pick and choose who can view you?
