Ah...

I find this a difficult contest to vote in. There are entries from all over the spectrum. From painting to photo to cartooning. Some people entered one. Some entered multiple.

Perhaps if there were some criteria listed for us to judge on? I honestly don't know.

As it is, I can't pick one. Each work stands out in its own individual way. Essentially, each one represents the pinnacle of whatever style that image is.

I vote for them all!

I'm worried that not enough people are going to find this thread in the Image Requests section.

I think this thread should be moved to the Tickling Art section, and there should be a link-thread to it in the Tickling Discussion thread, just so as many people as possible vote, just an idea.

In the HIGHLY unlikeley event I *DO* win (let alone place ) , I'd like to hand off my prize to a runner up. I suck at requests, and I don't even finish comissions, let alone ask for any.

Papi is right, these works deserve to be seen by the board-at-large, and it's possible that many might miss it in this sub-forum.

Anyway, I was astounded by what a fine assortment of works appeared for the contest.

An important understanding that all seemed to share is in the power of imagination when combined with illustrative skills. The beauty of having innate talent, and then honing it through trial and error is in the eventual ability to depict the fantastic, the impossible, the incredible.

So, a salute to everyone who entered the "contest", although I prefer to think of it as more of a "collection" of illustrative works.

I went with Kalamos exquisite, debauched renderings for first prize. If I had to pick the particular one, I'd say the fourth(last) of the batch.

In close second-place, the wicked tickle witch pic by Jerrick.

Third for me goes to Taxwaxus for that compelling hostage situation.

Cheers go to all who stretched the limits in such varied and brilliant ways!

I added Jevil's late entry because we probably won't have the next contest until April.

I'll create a sticky post in Tk Art and Non-tk Art announcing the contest.

Jimmy James, the only criterion for judging is which one you like the best, but I certainly understand how difficult it is to choose. The next contest may have a more specific theme, since this one was more of a trial balloon.

I have question Val, does us voting mean that you aren't a judge of the contest anymore? Cus I thought you were going to pick the winner until I saw this poll haha.
