I cant believe that yesterday was my 55th birthday.
So much has happened over the past year, between my stroke, and my Dad's health issues.
I did not even really make a big deal out of my 50th birthday.
Yesterday, when I turned 55, I stopped and thought about it a bit.
Of course, as I've posted, I had a mini stroke within the past year.
My father has undergone, one, what he calls "Medical procedure:" after the next over the past five years especially, including some major, scary operations
I spent yesterday alone, eating lunch, and spoke to all those who I love and who love me, both family and friends.
I might be seeing my father for lunch tomorrow, or if not, hopefully very soon.
I feel fortunate to have turned 55. Now, I hope for a much better year in 2025 than I had in 2024
Thanks to all those on the forum who have posted words of support during my health ordeals over the past year.
