The epitome of the 50/60's mom who stayed at home and cleaned house in <a href=http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.conelrad.com/mutatedtelevision/images/donnareed_sm.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.conelrad.com/mutatedtelevision/&h=217&w=180&sz=16&tbnid=iqK7ralA6csJ:&tbnh=101&tbnw=83&hl=en&start=14&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddonna%2Breed%26svnum%3D100%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN target="_blank">nylons and high heels</a>...hey, it could have happened!!! I have only seen it in reruns, but she would have been perfect for Paul Petersen (the son) and his buddies to lay her down on the couch, expose only her feet from under a couch pillow on the end (OK, I have thought about this a lot), and tickle her soles until she agreed to let him stay out late...hey, it could have happened!!! 🙂
Also, an honorable mention to <a href=http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.tvtome.com/images/people/42/9/60-44579.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/PersonDetail/personid-42960&h=187&w=140&sz=27&tbnid=-8oWBi40hnAJ:&tbnh=97&tbnw=72&hl=en&start=2&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dbetty%2Blynn%26svnum%3D100%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG target="_blank">Thelma Lou</a> (Betty Lynn) on Andy Griffith.
Ahhh, the days of nylons and high heels...
