It's OK, 88 🙂 The .rar extension is a WinRAR archive, a type of zipped file that can be split and rejoined. Only the WinRAR software (shareware, www.rarlabs.com ) can create a .rar file, but many free programs like Tugzip ( www.tugzip.com ) can open and rejoin .rar archives.
