mimi...though u and I have never spoken I have seen ur postings here and there as well as in the chat room now and then, the few times I have ventured in there🙂 I have always admired u as well as a few other female lees and lers🙂 I just wanted to say congrats...what a beautiful thing it is when people that share very important common interests fall in love...I saw this post by accident to be honest...and read it backwards, I was doing a good job today of pretending I am okay and just reading along and smiling until I saw and read the post in which u gave ur answer...then I lost it...cried my eyes out...lol...I have had only one relationship with such intense love and sharing of a love for tickling and now I am feeling a bit sad and melancholic but mostly happy for u and ur guy and a lifetime together that will be so fulfilling...I have often said how sad it is when people find themselves in unfulfilling relationships...when I was happy in mine I often wished that every sweet Ler had a lee just as sweet and loving to live and love with forever....now I can add myself to the list and I thank u both for showing us all that tickle-philes truly can meet and fall in love on the net...thanks to the tmf🙂

Wow, I didnt see this thread before, unless my head was isolated and missed it! Duh on me! Anyhow, I just want to say congratulations to you both. I hope you are very happy together. This is a very interesting and quite romantic concept Lazzy, placing a marriage proposal as a thread in the TMF for all of us to see. I think it's very cool! It almost reminds me of a guy who proposes with skywriting or on a sports diamondvision board or in similar fashion. Anyhow, enough of my rambling, the point is, good luck to you both. I've only spoken to you a few times Lazzy, so I cant profess to know you that well, but I'm certain if Mimis loves you so much, you are a great guy. To you Mimis, I consider you to be a great online friend. You are a source of great strength and understanding to both the TMF and to myself through both good times and bad. You have especially been very understanding and attentive to me in the past year since I've joined the TMF. I wish you all the happiness in the world, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Lazzy and I are settling comfortably into our "engagement period". It's been just over two months since he proposed, and just last weekend we moved into our first shared homestead. We're still unpacking loads of our useless crap (okay, LAZZY'S useless crap...darn packrat that he is! ARGH! lol), but it's feeling quite homey and we are very very happy 🙂
And yes, I still feel I am the happiest, luckiest girl in the world, even if lazzy CAN'T keep a darn sheet on the bed when he sleeps 😛
Thanks again, everyone. Sharing this moment with all of you only made it that much sweeter and more memorable.

A week from tomorrow it will have been 2 years since Lazzy proposed to me in his unique and special way, via the TMF.
I hope you all don't mind me resurfacing this thread in light of the upcoming anniversary. I just wanted to remember this special occassion, and perhaps allow all of our new wonderful TMF friends to share in something that happened before they stumbled into our forum.
Two years. Wow. And I can happily say I still love that man every bit as much today as I did the day he proposed. Actually, that's not true. I love him more. 😉
Since Lazzy and I owe our union to the tickling community (as that's how we met, AND how he proposed) we have been discussing the possibility of having the first ever TMF wedding....that is a wedding and gathering combined, so that many of our very special TMF friends can be there to share in the moment with us, and help us kick off our married life together with a "hysterically" good time. 😀 Maybe we can even get Father Jeff to perform the ceremony for us. But we don't plan on wedding for another year or two yet, so we've got plenty of time to make that a reality.
Life is grand. 😉

Mimi, I have a hard time expressing how happy I am for you (again lol) and we’ve never even met! but you and I dealt with so many of the same things (at the same time even it seemed) that I found myself reading many of your posts and thinking, “yeah, I know what you mean!” and being so glad to know that I wasn’t the only one working through the kind of hard life choices that we both have had to make.
here’s to those tough, brave, ‘what’s going to happen next’ choices paying off in spades! and even more importantly, here’s to finally giving Mimi what she deserves! (a good tickling is what I mean, of course… 😉 )

Thank god for both of us that our risks landed us both in the laps of phenomenal, strong, loyal, affectionate, expert male ticklers. 😀 And let me tell you honey that I am every bit as thrilled by and as happy about your success in the field of love.
