You could be on to something with those sunspots though I cant think of any other reason why it was zapped, but you made a good sarcastic joke at my expense which I enjoyed, and thats all my deleted post was.

OK, this is going to be the second or third time in this thread alone that Ive said this, so its also going to be the last time. If you willfully choose not to understand me, then I am not going to be responsible for your feelings of persecution.

The reason you have not had this explained to you yet is that no-one knows why it happened, or even what happened! and instead of finding out, Im here trying to convince people that Im not a repressive censor.

Do you think I have a telepathic link to Myriads and Kujman and all the other players in this, and that I'm purposefully concealing knowledge from you? Did you stop to think that maybe I meant what I said when I said it was still being figured out?

So for the last time, I am asking people to clam up and let this get worked out and wait for some real information to be available.


And thats not a threat from Big Brother. Its a statement. Im asking for people to show some maturity and appreciation for the situation as a whole. Those who dont will be ignored, not censored.

You may in fact be correct. The current evidence suggests that your post was deleted without due process. However we do need the time to investigate the matter and follow our due process before we respond.

Do you feel our policy should be to take every member or moderator's accusations at face value and respond without confirmation?

Try to follow these steps...

#1.File a complaint with a moderator or Myriads if your complaint is against a moderator.

#2. Give us 24-48 hours to respond. We do this for FREE and we all have lives. We truly do!

#3. After that feel free to begin your crusade against the unjust powers that be. All we ask is that you allow us the time we need to become proper villains🙂

I would like to add that it is not as simple as you imply it is...

First we need to gather what information that we can , than we need to present this information to Myriads who has the final say in these matters.

We have gathered as much information as we can... we are just waiting for Myriads... after that we WILL resolve this issue.

Many of you want action NOW! To hell with the rules lets hang him first and ask questions later!

When your post disappears it is sent to the "Administrators Forum" for review so that we can decide as a team if it should be permanently removed. It is against TMF policy to delete posts outright without them being moved to the "Administrators Forum" first. When this is done it is in direct violation of TMF policy.

We will act upon this issue as soon as Myriads returns.

I'm a mod, and *I* don't know, for certain, what happened. Clearly, something happened. There are several tellings. There's missing information. One of my posts was whacked, too. While I'll miss that fine text, it's just one tiny fragment of my thoughts. I've more to type.

Clearly, it's irritating. It should be JUST as clear that Jeff and Myriads will handle this, after very carefully assessing the whole situation. We mods will do as we've done, and will hope you fine folk contribute as you do. When it's done, they'll tell you and tell us. It'll be all good again.

We'll disagree, sometimes, too. Strel will drive around wit' a rifle on his gunrack, I'll still have gay friends and family, and folks will say and do other things we don't dig. We're supposed to all be adults, so we all have learned how to agree to disagree. Let's practice that, huh?

The TMF will, hopefully, continue. That choice ain't really mine, though. Beyond Jeff and Myriads doin' what they do, it's your choice. All of ya. Ain't much to moderate without a crew to converse. We just moderate what's here. You, however, ARE what's here. You're what's important. We mods could just email each other, otherwise. Just like in cowboy movies, there's trouble in town. Now ain't the time for lynchings. Now's the time to support your sheriff, or in our case, your Tzar and your co-founder.

gotta agree. not sure what more there is to figure out. all the mods have access to every post that was made and even exactly what time they were made. reading them in chronilogical order would clearly show who is at fault, if anyone is at fault. im sure individual mods that have seen all the posts already have a verdict of there own, but i think they are waiting for myriads is what the hold up is. anyway, how's everybody this fine evening?

Believe it or not, these guys do a pretty good job of keeping this place flame free. Until this came up, I dont remember too many other problems, and I was a lurker for a long time before I came out of the closet so to speak. One reason I believe this is happening is because the forum is increasing in popularity and with so many different views and ideas flowing in here some are bound to clash. A little disagreement between friends is healthy but this is becoming fucking ridiculous.

Lets give the mods a chance

As one of the main participants in this incident I want to say lets give the mods a chance here. I have a disagreement with Kujman, not any of the other mods or members. In my eyes none of the other mods have done anything wrong to this point in the handling of this situation. We can't pass judgement on the handling of this situation until its actually handled. The mods haven't even given us their resolution and some of us are critisizing them already.

I know we would like some answers a little quicker, but everyone does have lives outside of this forum and aren't always available 24 hours a day.

So I say lets chill until a resolution is given and then we can state are opinions in an orderly fashion at that time.

This is about as politically correct as I get! 😀
