What's the scariest event you can remember in your life?

One time my friend and I were lost in a city we've never been to before.
We got to this apartment complex and their was this old lady walking back and forth on the sidewalk, right across from the apartments.
We were driving slow because we were lost .. and she started walking towards us.
My friend sped up and turned around... and as we turned ... so did she!
She then started following us in the other direction!
We were freaked out, but we had to see if this was for real .. so we turned around one more time and she turned around too!
We immediately pulled into a parking lot and calmed down.
We leave 2 minutes later .. and the old lady is GONE.

True story!

Yes! And I thought they were dead because they've been sitting in this corner of my room for literally DAYS now .. so I poked one and sure as hell they are still alive. Wtf?!
