"All Together Now"- Favorite Beatles Song

Love them or hate them (I love them) The Beatles are here to stay, or at least their music is. I wanna know what your favorite Beatles song is. And to make it interesting, you may think up your least favorite Beatles song, as well. My favorite Beatles song is "Hey Jude". I have a book about their music and it says that if you listen very carefully, just after the "NaNaNaNa..." part begins, you can hear John Lennon exclaim, "f---in' hell!" I hear it but that's not what it sounds like to me. Least favorite: "Revolution #9". Just one of John's overindulgences.

Favorite Beatles song? Gosh, that's a hard one for me, because I like so many. I guess if I had to pick one favorite, it would have to be "Let It Be". My least favorite is also "Revolution 9" That song never made any sense to me. Lennon should have just stuck with the original "Revolution". That to me is a great song.

You ain't kidding. I've got an outtake of "She's A Woman" and I can't say for sure but it sounds like Paul McCartney farts into the microphone. Not too many things sound like that. The boys did have alot of fun in the studio before the Apple soured.

So many great songs to choose from...but I guess I'd have to pick "I Feel Fine" and "Day Tripper" as two favorites. I haven't heard every song they recorded, but of those I have I'd call "Rocky Raccoon" my least favorite.

My wife pretty much brainwashed me into listening to these guys frequently, but I've always respected everything they've done. They were a phenomenal four (fab four).

As far as my favorite song, it'd be just about anything off of A Hard Day's Night. In particular, track 2. Can't remember the title off the top of my head, but it starts,

"If I fell in love with you, would you promise to be true, and help me understand? Cause I've been in love before, and I've found that love was more than just holding hands..." and so on.

I'm gonna have to listen for John saying that in Hey Jude. 😉 I wonder if my wife knew about that, since she knows just about everything else there is to know about them.

My middle name is Jude, and when I usually tell people that, they tend to burst out into their own rendition of the song. Used to irritate me, but I've gotten used to it. 🙂 Great song, nonetheless.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Eric Clapton played the solo on that one. The guitar sounds more like it's praying since Eric Clapton was called "God" at that time.
