i don't know if anyone mentioned this "off the wall" episode before.

I was watching a rerun of Ally --- one of those early runs where they had
Kate Jackson as guest on an unfair labor ptractice case (apparently she's suing her network employer because they were terminating her for being old already)...anyway, Calixta was dumped by this guy and she was feeling so bad and she was talking to her ex and firm partner, Billy, and she mentioned something about just wanting to marry someone she loves and have kids, to have someone to go home to and sleep with, blah...and then from nowhere (verbatim) "...(i want someone) to tickle my feet..." whoa! where did that come from? Is Ally portrayed in the series as having a foot fetish (ticklee)? That coming from Calista...knocked me off my seat! I wonder if Harrison Ford tickles her feet now? Hmmm...

Did anyone else see that episode I'm talking about? Or other episodes perhaps with the same allusion to foot fetishism?

I remember in the pilot, when she met Georgia (Billy's wife) for the first time, he said something like "I know you Ally too well. You were expecting her to be fat, dumb..." blah. And Ally asked "you have to tell me more". Billy said "she snores...she's not legally blonde" etc. "No, you have to tell me more" she insisted. "the little toe, bunion..." he said.

What can you make out of that? Interesting.

Hi, I loved that show and watched every one. I do remember seeing that episode and thought it was very interesting that she brought tickling up. I think maybe others, besides people who consider themselves ticklephiles, enjoy the loving playfulness of tickling!

There have been rumors going around when Ally McBeal started that the creator David E. Kelley has a foot fetish. I've noticed that alot of episodes mention the word foot or feet referring to the body part, NOT a form of measurement.

Based on the context of the quote though I'm gonna say that we (tickling fetishists) might be looking too deep. Sounds like she was lonley and wanted someone to have intimate moments with on a regular basis. You're married, lying in bed, husband/wife walks by on the way to the bathroom and tickles your foot on the way by. Not always done in a sexual way, more of a playful act of affection. Not something that you get from a friend or stranger.

Actually, I watched the show regularly and this is the episode that the original poster was referring to.

The basic plot was this woman had gone out with the guy mentioned a couple of times and he snuck into her bedroom one night and started touching her feet while she slept. She woke up and wasn't very happy about it. Ally was defending the guy in court.

I don't remember who Ally was actually talking to about having a guy to tickle her feet but there was a later scene where she was talking to the doctor she was dating ( I forget the character and actor names but he's a regular on Law an Order... the black guy). It took place on the steps to her apartment building and she was trying to get him to come upstairs. She offered to let him tickle her feet. I wasn't too rock solid when she said that! ! ! I stayed glued to the tv but it never happened. I became fixated on the show, hoping that someone would do that to her.

Never happened. That sucked. She always reminded me of my Uncle Joey's first wife who I wanted to play with so badly. I actually got to sneak a stockinged foot tickle in a few times. She even turned to me one of those times and smiled sweetly saying 'that tickled'.

When they divorced, she asked me to come and stay with her to help with their two little daughters. Blown opportunity here. I was afraid I'd be named in the divorce.

I wasn't a regular viewer during its season...so I guess I really missed a lot 🙁 But thanks for the alert. Will keep an eye on that...rerun that is. Just curious...did she end up winning it for the foot guy? I'd love to see how she argued for that...she could be brilliant at times

Yeah, but she would have been out of the family... My uncle, on the other hand, will be my uncle forever. It really would have made things awkward... but she had the hottest looking feet.. especially in stockings.

She used to do this thing that made me horny as hell. She'd sit on her legs in one of those kitchen chairs with her stocking feet sticking out the back. I wanted her so bad.... She's still the measure I use when I meet other women.
