Anime Feet

As usual, I come-and-go when it comes to this thread, but I often find a few goodies that I just have to share w/my fellow community :teehee:

As it turns out, Japan released their own version of Disney's Lilo & Stitch back in October '08 simply titled "Stitch!" Stitch (and other aliens from the original series) are back and have kept their original look; however, everything else has been given an anime twist. For example, Lilo has been replaced by Yuna, a young girl who's got quite a "kick" to her personality, as the following images depict!

These are screencaps taken from the opening credits; Yuna delivers two roundhouse kicks (left leg, then right leg) throughout the whole thing, with a fine close-up of her barefeet (even though, she does wear sandals in the series)! And since she's a karate expert 😉 hopefully, this'll mean more future feet caps to come. Everyone, please enjoy, and a belated Happy New Years :nydrunk:

Being an Oahu resident, I've seen quite a fair share of girls going around barefoot, as well as hot Japanese tourists, but I didn't think they would make they're own version of an American show. So needless to say I'm quite interested to see how Japan potrays living on the islands.

Well, it seems to be pretty faithful to the original series (from what I've seen in the first episode, so far). I'm just a li'l disappointed they didn't make a japanese version of Lilo's older sister, Nani; she lives w/her grandmother, instead. By the way, xavius, this isn't the first american cartoon that was turned into an anime; a few years back, Power Puff Girls had also gone through the same revamption.

Here's a couple of sets from an episode of Kyouran Kazoku Nikki; sucks to be the armored dude heh heh heh heh. I like barefeet as much as the next guy (around here, that is), but I'm also a sucker for sandaled-feet 😉 hope there're others who share the same passion. Yeah sorry about that demotivator poster there, I didn't make it, but I can't stress enough how pointless it is to censor porn when it's legal. I mean...they have a different age requirement to look at porn there, but the fact is they censor it even when you BUY it and ARE of age. And if their idea of censoring is so big, of age or underage, why do sometimes they do such a half assed job of it? What the hell is a thin LINE gonna do? I can understand the blurs, oh yay I'm not supposed to see it, but a frikin line is more like a tease or an insult to the policy of censoring to underage in the first place. That's like taking cover from a barrage of bullets behind a piece of string.

Imagine if I went and downloaded something at Clips4Sale, and downloaded $50.00 worth of...happy stuff...from there, most likely with the intent of...I don't know....WATCHING the video? But instead all I get is a big blur everywhere. Yeah I"m gonna buy a porn just cause the fuck!ng (notice my good censorship skills there) box looks nice on my shelf but I'm never gonna watch it. Or I like to look at icons of video files all day but never actually open it. Imagine ordering food at a resturant, then the waiter comes with the food, waits for you to stick your fork in it and then grabs your fork and throws it away. Or buying a bag of potato chips, minus the chips. Or a video game that has an unformatted DVD inside the box. What if I typed this entire post using WingDings font? Or a........

Then again, there is hentai out there that doesn't censor, and the...sexual acts, is not any better or worse. So is it a law or not? Sometimes it's not even hentai, anyone seen Ranma? I've heard the age to see naked people is actually less than 18 I hear, but yet 20 is considered an adult? Adult as in to vote, smoke cigarettes, and to see porn etc. (I got that from the movie Wasabi, if anyone has seen it.)

To anyone who is Japanese, sorry if I have offended, but it's not like America doesn't have it's own share of corrupted values.
