Well, I can see that St. John's is on the east coast of the island. Does that mean that you are on the west coast? 😀

Ah, I see, no six lane highways that bypass towns. I can see that to get to St. John's by land one has to go over a narrow neck of land to reach the Avalon Peninsula. Just one more geography question, with the reason for it below the question.

Have you ever been to Gander?

Reason for the question: The only person I know who has been to Newfoundland was on a flight from London to New York City on September 11, 2001, and was diverted to an airport at Gander when all U.S. airports were closed. He didn't see anything outside the airport.

Gander was also an important military air base during World War II.

I wasn't a big fan of his, but I did listen to some of his music.
